Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe apartment doesn't look exactly like in the picture. In pictures it looks like a brand new property. Having said that it is still a comfortable apartment. The only downside was the beds, we were under the impression that there would be two double beds at least as the property had 3 bedrooms but the property had 2 rooms with a single bed and one room with a double bed and one single bed. This was difficult for us to manage as kids won't sleep in a separate room and it was difficult for me to sleep on a single bed with a toddler. Again I am not very sure if while booking it displayed the bed layout like that and I missed seeing it but yes it was uncomfortable.
The location and the host followed up the next day of our arrival, if all is ok. We just didn't get a chance to revert as we had plans and kids kept us busy. Also the host kindly allowed us an extra 15 mins for the late check out.

United KingdomAn instruction how to turn heating on would be helpful as Wales had cold weather I could not get heating working followed staff instruction the message but the heating did not work. Also the hair dryer did not work. The house keeping team could do a check up before next guest to ensure everything is working order.

United KingdomPicture of the garden/backyard deceaving as much smaller. The cleanliness of the backyard and upkeep of the front of the house needs a little attention (weeds and rubbish/Moss from rain). Internet not available for the first 2 days - house management company which travelling for business did not help as we had to find a location with internet connection for the first 2 days and fork out more money. £25 compensation was offered which was ridiculous when we spent £500 to rent for 4 days. I also had to fix the Internet wires myself as at no point did they offer an engineer to come look at it.
House Decor was lovely and very modern. The rooms were beautifully made up. Bathroom and kitchen are spacious enough. TV in every room was a bonus.

United KingdomThere was a bad leak in the kitchen, which was coming from the shower upstairs. The company was fast to send a plumber but the issue was not resolved before we left. They did provide us with a slight refund, which I appreciate.
The property management company was responsive to requests and worked with us to find a solution that would benefit all of us.

United KingdomThe property is very tired and could do with a tidy up. There were lots of cobwebs all over the house which made it feel unclean. There was no washing up liquid provided and when we went to use some of the crockery on the morning for a cup of tea, it was dirty. considering the house sleeps 5, there was not enough cutlery available.
They property was in a good location for what we needed - very close the the venue we were attending. The beds were comfortable and clean, as was the bathroom. Sofa was lovely to relax on.
