Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. The studio was very clean and all appliances including washer were available. The site manager, Georgie, was very polite and helpful.

United KingdomThe checking in process, it was clearly stated that checking in time is 3:00 pm, I made all my travel arrangements to arrive around that time, however at around 12:30 pm while already in transit I received a message that check in time is 5:00 pm due to delay from cleaners, I was left loitering around the property for more than 3:00 hours before I was eventually checked in at around 5:30 pm
Newly completed all facilities in perfect working order and the entire apartment was sparklingly clean

United KingdomFrom the outside it looks just like offices. I do know they were converted from offices but if you didn't know they were apartments you would still think they were. The apartment was very modern but a bit too modern for me. Clean square grey and white. Just not my thing. Ideal if you like that. The toilet seat was extremely wobbly and you had to be very aware of that when using it. I arranged a 6-7 o'clock check in, I received a phone call asking and I told them, hopefully 20 past or half past 6. The person turned up at 6.50. Quite inconvenient as I had plans in town at 7pm. The ad said no parking available but didn't mention that there wasn't any parking anywhere. The next street was permit holders only between 10-11am and 2-3pm. So all day there is out of the question.There was nothing else other than the main car parks in town I know that's not the problem of the booking agent but this information would be extremely helpful. The booking agent sprung a £100 damage deposit after paying so had you over a barrel as the payment was non refundable. I paid the deposit as asked( as if I had a choice) and despite a text from the cleaner the afternoon I left telling me " thanks for leaving flat as we found it" I still haven't got that released nearly 5 days later. Also, we are not the type of people who leave any place we stay dirty. So considering you are told you have to make sure the washing up is done, the rubbish is removed to the bin area outside all food and drink items are removed from the flat and washing machine is empty, I feel a £70 cleaning charge is a little excessive. All in all, the place is nice but the booking agent really needs to be more upfront with deposit requests and parking restrictions BEFORE they take the money!
It was very modern and clean. All mod cons and good WiFi. Everything you need other than the food and drink.
