Rooms were little noisy due to neighbouring rooms. Beef massanan curry was poor, very dry,but all other food was good

We were not told that the bar would be shut for the evening when we booked, so that was disappointing not being able to have a couple of relaxed drinks in the bar. There was a big rugby tour of young lads staying at the hotel and therefore breakfast was so busy and noisy and not relaxed at all. Not a great start to the day. Breakfast was quite tasty though. Although one small toaster for 100's of people wasn't good. Ended up just having bread. The reception staff were friendly and polite.

The location was lovely. The building looked beautiful from the outside and the gardens were picturesque.

Room was a little small, but fine. Could do with direct access from the car park into the coach house, Sound proofing was poor - ducks woke me at 530!

the rooms were narrow, and I could hear next door , I really didn’t like being told I hadn’t handed my key in by text and that I’d be charged if not handed in by 10 , when I had checked out and handed my key in . after a couple of messages and phone calls I got told they had me down as staying in the room next door , then 30 mins later I had another phone call demanding the key and had to explain that this had all been sorted and to stop chasing me . never had a sorry or an apology …. the staff seemed really friendly when I was there

Room layout was awkward - not as in photo. The bed wasn’t near the light switch and bedside table was out of reach.

Got off to a bad start. Prison camp parking system which demands registration within 15 minutes. Wouldn't accept my Spanish registration plate number and so the threat of 100 pound fines immediate and despite promises and assurances no confirmation from the hotel that these have been cancelled. Car park not close to the rooms so very difficult to get luggage to the room. How someone disabled would cope I am not sure. Long walk from the car park to the bedroom and no drop off point until I insisted on a code to access the private staff car park. Cramped poorly designed room which was very claustrophic. Couldn't reach the light from the bed. Kettle couldn't be plugged in from its table. Razor charger in the bathroom but nowhere to rest the razor or toothbrush. Quite bizarre. Very disappointing, Oh and the wifi in the room was awful. Not fit to work with (thankfully the problem was overcome by the helpful staff),

What a mixed bag! Friendly, helpful staff and lovely building / setting. Good quality food for breakfast and most facilities outside the room were excellent standard, Adequate comfort. Staff very helpful in providing a work around for the dreadful wifi in the bedroom (poor wifi in a conference centre?) and conference room provided to work in was free and adequate, Lovely setting and beautiful

The Coach House rooms were small, originally designed as single conference rooms. Rooms are too hot.

Great location and staff were so friendly and helpful. The old Abbey House is wonderful and the grounds are worth exploring.

The room was very small with basic facilities no shampoo or conditioner. Tv had no Netflix or iPlayer platform.

The grounds were beautiful and parking was free and easy. Breakfast was delicious as was supper.
