Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe short flights of stairs are a pain but I knew what to expect.
I needed a budget hotel, no trimmings needed, just clean and convenient and that is exactly what I got. I stayed here pre covid and the decor has certainly improved. I have to warn people that some stairs are unavoidable but that apart you get what you pay for. I needed a taxi, they recommended one and I used them again and again. Very satisfied all round.

United KingdomHotel had everything I needed for a 2-night stay while I was in the area collecting items I'd purchased from a nearby business. Plenty parking spaces at the hotel, great breakfast in the morning and good public transport links within a 5-minute walk from the hotel for a tourist trip into Manchester. The second time I've used this hotel now.

United KingdomIt was all good. No complaints at all.
We had a triple bed room with ensuite bath/shower and toilet. The room had 3 single beds which were very comfortable. There was tea/coffee facilities in the room. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean. The bar/dining area was spot on and the foot was very good indeed. Each and every member of staff we met were kind courteous and very helpful, a real credit to the hotel. There is free on site car parking. It is close to national rail and Manchester tram stations. I would stay here again.

IrelandThe beds aren’t the most comfortable. The blankets were pretty light so we were cold in bed. The tv didn’t work and if it did it was too far away from the bed to see it.
The location is perfect as it’s only a couple minutes walk from the tram stop. The staff were really accommodating with holding our bags until check in and when we had any problems. The food and drink was delicious and cheap !

United KingdomI didn't find the chair in the room comfortable. The cups were tiny and there were no teaspoons. Another blanket would have been nice and/or instructions on how to use the thermostat.
Room was clean. Very little noise from other rooms. Bed was comfy. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was really good, and the coffee was great.

United KingdomNo coffee sachets. I didn't try the breakfast
Looking outside at the appearance and the location. You think oh my god, is this really where I am staying!!!!!!!! Appearances are deceiving and once inside. It was a large double bedroom. Clean, modern shower. With two shower heads. Tea only, would have liked coffee sachets as a choice. Don't be put off though, marvellous views of Manchester on the 14 th floor even on a dreary February!!!!!!!!

United KingdomI don''t think breakfast is served early enough (07:00hrs). This hotel is serving contractors / tradesmen / humans working away from home. I have stayed here a number of times and see a lot of guests leaving the premises around 06:30hrs - not able to get a meal before they leave. I fall into this category and personally would make use of the facility if it were open from 06:00hrs. Also, minor niggle: the car park (free parking - good point about this hotel) is surrounded by / marked of from the surrounding pavement by curb stones that stand out of the ground by approx 6 inches (I've not measured, only guessing), you have to be careful not to park with your front wheels touching the edge of the car park because you may - as I did, accidentally rip the front end off your car when reversing away in the dark. I drive a Peugeot not a lowered sports car. I was very unhappy about this. Could the Hotel have done any more to prevent this? - I don't know, better car park lighting or signage maybe? For the majority of customers this is not an issue as the majority of vehicles in the car park are vans.. Personally I think there is room for improvement though.
Staff, Restaurant / quality of menu and Bar a of good quality - prices are good. Rooms are functional, bathrooms are clean and functional. This Hotel is serving a particular point in the market and and is doing it well.

United KingdomRestaurant didn’t have many vegan options and was only open for a few hours in the evening. It’s a strange layout as you take the lift to one floor and then have to take the stairs down to your room.
Just opposite an Aldi, 5 min walk to Eccles tram or train station. The express train is only 8 mins to central Manchester. Clean and spacious rooms. Room nicely heated. Plenty of fresh towels and daily cleaning. Free parking.
