Friendly staff. The location is far from the city centre, but we were aware of this. The hotel is located in Eccles which is a very safe and pretty area. The bus station is close and across the street there is a grocery store.

No bedside tables. TV was tiny and at the end wall so very difficult to see! The bed was a large double with 2 singles pushed together but the mattresses were not the same height so really uncomfortable in the centre of the bed.

The rooms were large, bathroom was spacious and had a good shower. Good value for money and room was always clean and towels were large and fluffy.

Shower had little adjustment on heat bit hot. Hard to find went round 3 times no signs saying OX Hotel. From outside didn’t look appealing, job centre on ground floor next to the main entrance.

Room was very clean. Hotel staff were very friendly and polite. We had an evening meal was very good. Drinks were reasonably priced. Allowing for the price it exceeded our expectations. From outside looks rough. Very surprised inside looks good.

Yes the was a few steps to get from the lift to reception or to the room but nothing really to be a complaint for . Corridors were a bit tacky and needed decorating and new carpets. But the rooms , service and breakfast made up for it all

Carpet in the room was very dirty, the bed was really quite uncomfortable and the location was further out from manchester than we thought, however that is on our end- just a note.

Hoovering could have been a little more thorough when we first entered, but that's being a little picky. The showers are a little tricky and stiff with getting the right temperature but the staff were fantastic at helping fix it. Accessibility isn't super great. The lifts arrive in the middle of the floors, meaning you have half a flight of stairs up or down to reach a floor which is a little strange One very small inconvenience was no spoons for the tea/coffee station. So I'd bring some instead of using coffee sticks provided

Fantastic value for money for a long stay if you're just needing a place to sleep. I personally used it while recovering from a surgery for 9 days and was perfect for that. The place is conveniently opposite an aldi. it's clear the bathrooms are new and showers have modern big shower heads for a great shower. Beds are comfy if a little soft, staff more than happy to supply extra pillows and fresh towels. Rooms a pleasant size Staff were very pleasant and friendly, really made to feel welcome Would stay there again for a budget travel down to Manchester.

I did not like the smell of cigarette smoke in front of the building just at the entrance before the lift to second floor reception. However, there was no smell of cigarette in my room or in my corridor

The temperature of the shower in the room was stuck on hot and so almost scorched myself, so wasn’t fantastic. Our room (twin with 2 single beds) was basic but did the job, although the mattresses weren’t great and one bed (or maybe the pillows) didn’t smell very nice. Was ok for £45 for a night, but if I had paid £200 (as quoted for other nights) I would have been very disappointed . It’s located in an old office block next to the local job centre so don’t know what it is like during the working week.

Very clean room. Room was a good size. Great shower, good hot water. Towels changed every day and room made up every day. Really happy. Very good location in Eccles, great for the Trafford Centre etc. Do NOT let the look of the building put you off. It's very nice inside and GREAT value for money.

The building itself was very run down, however the room we stayed in was modern and very comfortable to stay in for the one night we were there.

The staff here were brilliant I cannot fault them at all, they were exactly what we needed checking in and out, friendly and easy to talk to.

A more visible sign to. Reception would be go as the front entrance is shared and reception 8snt at front desk. Shower had, no working temperature, control, not sure if this was fault with that particular unit or they had a pipe problem, but meant avoiding after first use as was worryingly hot

Nice. Sized room, friendly staff and nice looking bar, (due to. Being out I didn't get to try but was nice to have option). For a traveller on budget there is supermarket a cross road and several takeaways. Also only few minutes walk from train station.

The location and area feels a bit rough but if your literally using it as an over night it’s good and if you are with someone else it’s close to the tram into town so you could venture out.

It’s relatively clean, spacious, free parking, friendly staff, tea and coffee facilities in the room. One bed was fine and comfortable the other was an older mattress. I only needed one bed so it was fine. The price is incredible and makes this great value to stay in to avoid long work commutes.
