Car parking. they have outsourced it and they had saved spaces for a Jaguar Car club, which meant we parked further away from the hotel.

Goo simple hotel breakfast, though expensive, as seems to be the way these days

Staff could have been more attentive in the bar in the evening. I arrived quite late, and the reception desk wasn't manned so had to try to get someone's attention. Parking was expensive.

Lovely breakfast. I also had a nice dinner in the bar area. Bed lovely and comfortable. Good pressure and nice hot shower. Fridge with bottle water was good, and nice toiletries in the bathroom.

Negative point was that the soap dispenser in the bathroom hadn't been refilled, meaning we had to reach into the shower and use body wash to wash our hands. £19 for a buffet breakfast (per person) is way over-priced. We went elsewhere. I wasn't informed of the £10 per night parking charge until after I'd confirmed my booking.

    Excellent bed and comfortable room.

The aircon is a cosmetic feature. In no way can you warm the room, and it's very, very noisy.

I've recently written a review for the hotel, so it seems unnecessary to go into it again, but I will add 2 things. Housekeeping staff work really hard. The aircon is bloody useless and so noisy.

Sometimes, personal privacy at the reception desk isn't good. Beware the double glazing is cosmetic only. Noise from street level has disturbed my sleep, unfortunately ( this is despite a very kind person letting me have a more quiet room!). The aircon and especially the bathroom fan that won't turn off - both are far too noisy. Also, fyi the aircon does nothing! Well, it blows a bit of air about but does nothing beyond that, and it's really cold in the room, even if you set it to 28+°C. Not good. The lighting in the room is either way too bright or "off" and too dark. The USB socket by the bed is broken. The drinking glasses had hand prints over them, and I wasn't happy to use them. Some staff were grumpy and disinterested, while others were really nice. The car park is handy, but it adds up quickly as an expense. The amenities in the bathroom are very good in themselves, but the conditioner bottle malfunctioned. The shower gel bottle only worked with the pump sideways, which was awkward. Breakfast was probably overpriced. The coffee machine is slowww. I felt a bit of pressure to eat up and go, despite the time I was there. The toilets on ground floor are fine, but wait till it comes to washing your hands. The soap dispenser is about 1 inch above a shelf. The taps double up as hand driers, which I absolutely hate. They aggressively blast dirty water in the basin right up at you. Funky, but a truly stupid design!

The room is spacious, and the decor isn't intrusive. The windows are lovely and large, so it's not gloomy during the day.. There are plenty of charging points and plugs. There is spare water and sparkling water in the fridge, and drink making facilities. The hairdryer is effective, not the annoying flimsy kind. Some of the staff are pleasant, patient, charismatic, and humourous. There's a decent car park with a car wash in it. The room has a good-sized desk for working at. Housekeeping are very hard working and so polite. The shower is nice and the towels are a good size. The dining area is good. The lifts always worked well.

Rooms cold, bed was really hard even with a topper on. Breakfast was cold, for the amount of people I’m not sure why they wouldn’t do breakfast to order it would make a massive difference. Especially when the chef was just stood there on his phone and the food is cold?

Reception, bar, restaurant all clean and nicely presented. Parking was easy, staff were friendly and rooms were clean. Delicious bacon on day 1.

You cannot open any window, however, fortunately there was a way to let some fresh air in. The heating/airconditioning control overcomplicated, however, the receptionist sorted this out for us immediately.

Beautiful spacious modern room. One of the best showers I have ever come across in the UK - powerful, everything worked, a variety of soaps, shampoos in nice containers enhanced the feeling of comfort. Staff (receptionist) very responsive, they fulfilled 110% my two requests straight away.

The air conditioning was a little bit too noisy from time to time.

Very spacious and comfortable room, double bed was big enough for two adults and a child, altough there was a single bed too. The bathroom equiped with everything you need (towels, body wash and lotion, shampoo and conditioner). Staff was very politely and amiably. Great value for the money.
