Music Noise at night

Nice room, the guy in charge was very pleasant. Only downside was had no parking so was parked up a big hill 10 mins walk away so I was struggling with bags but moved a bit closer next morning . Night time abit noisy to sleep even though we were in room on the back as the music was quite loud kept me awake on the Sunday eve. But overall a good stay.

The bed was very uncomfortable and the noise from neighbouring rooms kept us awake.

Lack of aircon meant I had to open window as it was a hot night, this means you have to cope with traffic noise fine if you are a heavy sleeper

No lift, 4 flights of stairs to get to our room (I have a disability) the room and bathroom was spotlessly clean but the shower was very awkward to get into. My husband is over 6’ and he was higher than the fixed shower head.

Great location. Very clean. The Restaurant (Nicks) was outstanding. Fantastic staff and the food was delicious, absolutely delicious! Great view and considering we were at the front of the building on the main road it was very quiet.

Very comfortable room with outlook over the seafront. Great location with excellent restaurant below offering discount to Hotel Guests. Lockbox check in went smoothly. Manager Arthur and his staff very helpful.

On arrival we were given our key and told where the room was. There was no more interaction than that, no welcome, enjoy your stay or even a smile 🙈 we couldn't find any staff in the morning on checkout either so didn't know where to leave the keys. A little more information would have been fab

The room was very clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable. View was amazing! Everything we needed, iron, ironing board, mini fridge ( milk provided) tea coffee sugar also. TV, storage for our clothes etc.

Parts of the stairs were poorly lit. At one point we couldn't see where we were stepping and i nearly fell down the stairs

Toilet seat broken on the left side at the back, heat was so hot in room ,couldn't turn the radiator off in bathroom ,the mattress was awful, springs all gone all over mattress

Small thing to point out, the shower cubicle needs a shelf or basket to put your shampoo and shower gel in. Just a suggestion.

Great location. Near to car park. Breakfast in the room good. There was a loaf, butter, various jams, pain au chocolate, and cereal boxes. Plenty of tea and coffee and fresh milk. There is a fridge and microwave in the room.
