Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe bath is very high to step into. I am only 5 foot 3. I had a bath the day I arrived and it was tricky getting in and out. For this reason I didn't gave a shower the following morning which wasn't great, I had a wash instead. There isn't a shower screen so when my husband had a shower tge water splashed over the floor. There isn't a mirror where you can plug in a hairdryer near it. The kettle has a very short cord so had to plug in on the bedside shelf, not ideal. Seems style over practicalities. That said it was convenient for our Eurostar the following morning.
Great location just opposite King's Cross and St pancras International. Clean hotel with friendly staff.

United KingdomOur room overlooked a huge building site, which was incredibly noisy until 5.30pm. Luckily we checked out at 5.15am so didn’t have to worry about the noise once the building work started again in the morning!
The hotel was quite quirky but fun. The room was very clean and the bed really comfortable. It was a great location for travelling to and from St Pancras and Kings Cross stations.

AustraliaWe stayed for 2 nights. Unfortunately our safe didn’t work but much effort was put into rectifying this and we were able to the safe at reception. It was disappointing however that when we returned from a day out (at about 4:30 pm) our room had not been serviced. This again was rectified after discussions with reception.

United States of AmericaNothing that I can think of.
Specious room (Deluxe Double Room). Only a few minutes walk from St Pancras International station. Friendly and helpful staff. We had a train to catch early next morning, which was the primary reason that we picked this hotel. The room was a bit outdated but nice and clean. The bed was comfortable.

United States of AmericaUnfortunately there is construction next door that starts at 8am. If you're in the front or side street facing room it's not so quiet.
The hotel is very different, has cool stuff to give a great visual workout. Really enjoyed just looking at all the cool stuff. The room was very comfortable as we're the pillows. The staff was really friendly and hopeful.

IcelandThe room was quite dark. Heavy carpet on floors so felt a little bit like it could be hard to keep properly clean but there were slippers. There was heavy air conditioner noise in the bathroom, not sure whether we should have turned something off or not, we didn't find a switch or the like. Loads of corridors in the hotel, slightly confined.
Our room was incredibly spacious. The bed was very comfortable. We had everything we needed. Great location and view. Great to have complementary drinks. Interesting style and loads of details to look at.

United States of AmericaWe stayed in the Junior suite, which was very spacious and perfect for a family of 4, but the shower / bath tub was not designed well. Water leaks down from the shower head and flows or splashes outside of the tub.
