EVERYTHING!! Bernie and Alex are so accommodating and the food was exceptional, Having a morning chat with the animals was a bonus. lovely peaceful location, and great facitilities, they really have thought of everything ! i will be rebooking when im back in the area for work in Spring next year.

Lovely quiet peaceful location. Complete privacy. A small holding of 4sheep, 2pigmy goats a donkey all of which were rescued plus 3 beautiful dogs. Hens and quail. There were all behaved a greeted you each morning on the private patio area. Lovely staff Bernie & Vicki were on hand if needed. Very friendly. Makes you welcome. Food excellent and delivered to your accommodation. Will definitely return one day.

Our stay Meerkat Manor was nothing short of awesome. From the moment we arrived, we was greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality from Bernie. The accommodation was just perfect providing a peaceful and comfortable break allowing an escape from our manic lifestyle. The breakfast needs a mention as it clearly shows Bernie's passion of cooking and service. It was truly excellent both mornings and nothing was too much trouble. But what truly made my stay unforgettable was the opportunity to spend time with Zebadee the Donkey. As an animal that reminds of my childhood, helps with mental health and PTSD, Zebadee provided me with a sense of calm and companionship that I deeply cherish. Being able to interact, feed and spend time with him was a truly heartwarming experience. The 3 goats, 3 sheep and 20+ other animals where great to but Zebadee was the main man. If you're seeking an exceptional B&B that offers comfort, relaxation, and a touch of something special, we highly recommend meerkat manor.

Meerkat Manor is a unique property as it is part of a smallholding and guests are surrounded by various animals (sheep, goats, ponies etc) grazing in the garden. The apartment is spacious and self-contained. Although it is B&B rather than self-catering, plates, cups, glasses, utensils are provided. The property is very well maintained and well equipped. The host, Bernie, is very helpful. Breakfast is exceptional and is served in the room piping hot.

Was further to travel than we expected and had to watch out for farm vehicles on the narrow roads on the way in.

Beautiful quiet location. Breakfast and evening meals exceeded our expectations and highly recommend as one of the best meals we’ve had while travelling around the UK. Plenty of space to relax after a long day sightseeing and very spacious.

Meerkat Manor was lovely. Really felt welcome. Evening meal and breakfast was exceptionally tasty and breakfast delivered in a cute basket. Room was great...more like a little apartment with sofa lounge area and wee kitchenette. Loved the donkeys. Would recommend a stay and will definitely stay again if I'm in area.

The country side location of Meerkat manor was peaceful and in a beautiful setting.We even saw some red kite birds.The hosts were great,the breakfasts and evening meal were all delicious.And all the animal / pets were great to watch.

We had a brilliant stay at Meerkat Manor. Even in the snow and rain, it is warm, cosy and the perfect retreat. In a beautiful location, the space is ideal. Bernie has thought of everything you need. And the breakfast in a hamper is absolutely gorgeous, with a wide range of choices of food and drink. The same goes for evening meal options. So tasty and very reasonably priced, once you're back in the B&B, there's no need to go anywhere, if you don't want to. It is lovely to stay somewhere where you can tell the host really cares about their guests and their experience. Highly recommend, we would love to return in the future.

More of a mini bedsit than a hotel room - very comfortable, equipped above and beyond reasonable expectations. Convenient and welcome delivery to the room of breakfast and excellent home cooked dinner in the evening. Attractive location and great to have the animals around!
