Bathrooms were tired and swimming pool changing rooms could’ve been a bit cleaner. It’s a bit dated in places. The bar area and restaurants had a very limited childrens menu and there were very few dairy free alternatives for children which made eating difficult. There was no attempt by the bar staff to help with this either. Staff were on the whole very friendly though and everyone said hello.

Beautiful location and very quiet. Loads of wildlife around.

The room water pressure was horrendous, so bad that we had to use the showers in the gym

The grounds were fantastic, rabbits roaming around the greenery and flowers made the scenery even more amazing. Swimming pool and gym facilities were included in the price which was a bonus with a secure manned secure carpark. The breakfast was pretty standard, everything that you expect was on the menu. Evening food menu was standard, chose to dine elsewhere as my partner didn't like the food options.

One comment this time - evening meal was a lovely buffet again. However staff were slow in taking drinks order and clearing plates away - only a couple of tables occupied at the time.

    Great visit once again

I’m disabled with mobility issues and the spa facilities was too far and it clearly wasn’t designed for disabled people as I had to navigate around stairs.

Breakfast was superb my partner and I really enjoyed it. The hotel and staff were lovely and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Bar and restaurant really busy and waiting time for orders to be taken excessive (20 minutes), food to be served (20 minutes) and paying for dinner (30 minutes), unacceptable. Breakfast hot buffet was definitely not hot with the warming lamps certainly not doing the job.

Ideally located close to the NEC in stunning surroundings.

Very clean, pretty location, outdated decor

The shower needs modernising, the water pressure is weak and placed oddly. Decor needs updating in parts especially the bathroom. For breakfast there was a notice to wait to be seated, but we waited for 15 minutes or so with no staff attending us. When we did show ourselves to a table as we were conscious of the closing time, a staff member showed up and quite rudely demanded our room number. The price of food is quite shocking. Up to £20 for burger and chips!

The reception and our room smelt clean and fresh, the general cleanliness was excellent. The room size for the deluxe king was spacious albeit a little outdated in decor. The breakfast buffet was a great spread, a delicious variety and we particularly enjoyed the pancake machine.

Bars ran out of basic drinks daily. Good limited for me in both restaurants. Rooms are dated and in need of maintenance. Changing rooms near pool are grimey. Parking spaces for electric charging were too narrow. Shower head is at my face level so showering was uncomfortable.

Staff were great. Location was stunning.

The seating in one of the bars seemed to be unstable. Also the leather chair in the bedroom had damaged leather. The room was OK but as we had child with us a much bigger bed would have been better than two double beds. Due to the layout of the room we could not even push the two beds together. As a couple the bed should have been bigger in any event. The breakfast probably should have been included as part of the package it being a 4 star hotel.

It was nice to be able to go for a walk in the surrounding fields

The spa was closed which was a shame reopened after our stay. The food was a reasonable standard but there were a lot of burgers on the menu. Salad at zest was disappointing. This hotel could do with revamping their menus to match their standards elsewhere. It seems everything is fried or grill top so steaks burgers etc. Food in the evening was a little better but lacked finesse

Lovely setting beautiful grounds rooms were spacious and clean. Plenty of room to roam here to.
