Both bars had private functions on Saturday so there was NOWHERE to sit and get an afternoon drink for our party

The staff were the best part especially the young bar staff.

Hard to get service at breakfast…and it’s a confusing layout!

Loved the pitch and putt and nature trail - was a fun way to spend time while I waited for my room to be ready….

I paid for my extras Saturday evening so that my check early the next day would be a breeze and was surprised with extra charges. I still do not agree. I took care of my responsibilities and then I had to pay for someone's error/ mistake Glad my driver was late.

The grounds and buildings are so beautiful. Everywhere you look is something more beautiful than the next. I left part of my mind and heart here! I can't wait to come back.

Located in a large golf centre, a few miles outside Edinburgh, Dalmahoy a very reasonably priced hotel for the facilities and location. Quiet and tranquil. Swimming pool available in the Spa and fitness centre.

We had a little bit of black mould on the sealant in our bathroom, and the bathroom was probably in need of a refurb. But we’d definitely stay again!

Lovely hotel, in a beautiful location! We stayed to see Taylor Swift in Edinburgh and the staff were so excited about the occasion 😊 Breakfast was great, the grounds were lovely to explore and the facilities were perfect. On a really easy bus route into the city centre, but with the perk of having a quieter stay.

Would have been nice to have a few more gluten free options for breakfast (croissants and pastries)

It was set in lovely grounds, only 10mins away from where we needed to be the next morning, the staff were very polite and friendly. We enjoyed using the pool and spa facilities.

It was a good 15 minutes from the heart of Edinburgh. The website says there is a complimentary shuttle, however, it has not been operating since Covid. That would be a very welcome addition, to return that service. The Brassery Restaurant food left a lot to be desired, and although breakfast buffet food was good and plentiful, it was the exact same every day.

Beautiful grounds, charming, friendly, accommodating staff!

The receptionist wasn’t particularly welcoming on arrival. The room was difficult to find and we were given very quick instructions which were unclear. We eventually found our room after asking another member of staff who gave us clearer instructions. No one asked if I required assistance with my luggage even though I was travelling with children. The room wasn’t cleaned to a high standard. There was dust and marks in the bathroom. The beds however were comfortable and the main area was clean and tidy. On checkout the lady was much friendlier and advised me that my children could use the pool after checkout which was very welcomed.

Beautiful grounds and use of pool. Beds were really comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.

The Duty Manager who was officious and arrogant over a problem with the sink in the room not draining I came away never wanting to stay there again

Location - convenience to Hermiston park and ride for murrayfield and love the hotel and grounds having stayed many times when it was owned by Marriott group so very familiar with it
