There were signs of wear and tear - stove top was badly marked and the bathtub had been repaired in multiple places - the sofa also had a stain on the arm.

The apartment is in a great location with good connections to other parts of London. It's also possible to walk to the Millenium bridge and Tate Modern. It's great to have a kitchen and living area to hang out in and prepare food. We have young kids so going to a restaurant in the evening isn't always easy. Washing up liquid, sponges, tea towels and a few dishwasher tablets are provided. The towels and toilettries provided are like you'd find in a hotel (L'Occitane toilettries). Overall, I find the Marlin apartments great value for money and they make staying in central London with kids very easy.

Only issue I would say was that the mattress on the sofa bed is really due replacing and the springs are felt when sitting or lying on it and very uncomfortable. Not an issue if you’re only 2 staying, but for a family of 4 it wasn’t very comfortable. Other than that the stay was good and no complaints at all.

Everything was quite comfortable. Good access to public transport and the tourist spots. All walking distance.

There are only 2 lifts for over 20 floors, so you sometimes have to wait a few minutes to use one.

This was our second stay at the apartments. The location is convenient but quiet - a short walk to Borough Tube Station and not far to walk to the Shard and to Borough Market. We were able to sleep with the window open without being disturbed at all. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. There is a small Tesco on site which is very handy.

When we arrived, they had not booked 3 apartments as requested. This had to be sorted out, as on booking. Com it was showing as 3 as requested, but on their system itnwas only showing as 1 apartment booked. Once this was sorted out. Everything was fine.

Accomodation excellent. Very clean and had everything in the apartment you need . Location was excellent .

Cleanliness

I was amazed to see the way the frontline staff Mohana, Khaled, Valmika, Reja etc had been helpful and the way they had been handling customers, they for sure added value to our stay in Marlin Apts.

some routine check ups of certain facilities will be good such as the heater in the bathroom, the windows in the living room. The window was fixed at request. We didn't bother to report the heater in the bathroom.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. On 5 Dec, when we arrived, Georgie helped us a lot.

Issues with some facilities - curtains not closing properly in living room, radiator in bathroom appears not to work.

Microwave was initially working well but it broke down the last few days of our stay but unable to get the repairmen as it was during the Christmas period. It was a small issue because overall we had a wonderful stay.

24hr desk security. Apartment was spacious and very clean. Bed was comfortable and slept well. Cosy and well lit. Walking distance (5mins) to borough tube station and borough market which is famous for its food. There is also a tesco just below the apartment which is very convenient for getting groceries/snacks. Recommended for families or group of friends travelling. Would definitely come back here! Front desk staff were friendly too!

The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. My husband and I barely slept for the 3 nights we stayed. There was no kettle. We asked 3 times and each time we were told someone would bring it up but no one did.

Location was excellent. Tesco Express next door. The manager was helpful and secured a balcony for us. We had a nice view of the city also.

The corridors are plain dirty. Vacuuming once a day would not hurt. Some facilities in the apartment were quite outdated. Some of the towels and the bed covers were dirty.

The hotel has a lot of potential. It's too bad that as it comes to cleanliness, there is still some work to be done. The location is great. Good connections to the city center. 10 minutes walk from London Bridge. The room was quite generous. A lot of space, many facilities. The reception staff was also super friendly.

I actually enjoyd everything. Okay maybe the rain.

I was staying in a room of the fifth floor with my twin brother. Oh boy everything was perfect. For a week we felt like kings of London. It was like a lux hotel room/apartment. Especially loved that we had our own kitchen with all essentials for cooking. The fact that the place had a tesco and a pure gym right around the corner made it sooo perfect. What else could one need.
