Only issue was with not having iron and board and the room said had bath but had shower

All staff were great - Claire was brilliant in particular, got us sorted with a last minute reservation for dinner in the restaurant and generally really contributed to a great stay

I thought the whole hotel was a bit too warm. We got the heat turned off in our room and got a fan but downstairs having dinner my dog was panting and we had to get ice cubes to cool him down.

The stairs could have used a good clean. The bed was a bit hard for my liking.

The hotel and rooms were very clean. The Sunday lunch was huge. Most of the staff were very friendly.

I had friends staying in 3 other rooms and yet my room was £26 dearer which I don't understand.!! there were no extra in the bathroom shower cap or hand cream.

Staff at hotel. Fabulous. Everyone wanting to help you in anyways they can. From reception staff to restaurant breakfast. Lunch and evening meals. The manager Lism even gave me to snd from my dad's anniversary Mass in Carey. Couldn't get a taxi. Liam offered his services to me which was very much appreciated. Thank you all at The Marine Hotel for making our stay a great one

We requested a travel cot as we had 1 eight month old baby, this was provided. Our room had 3 extra beds and was up a flight of stairs with no lift. We had alot of equipment for the baby and had to carry everything. We asked the hotel had they any other rooms and they said no.we had to carry everything up and down. They said we would have been better booking through the hotel rather than booking.com, and there was nothing they could do about it. We spoke to another couple that night who said they had only booked a room that day as well. We feel there was no understanding on the staffs part.

We were in the beach house and you have to walk outside to get to it, weather was raining so we got soaked every time we wanted to go to the hotel. The brought me the wrong meal at dinner - Marconi which is simply the worst restaurant I have ever been too. I sent mine back and preferred to eat nothing. My partners champ was like something from school dinners. The whole hotel stinks of dog

don't under any circumstances book through booking.com, it was clear the hotel prefer you book through them (which I tried to do several times without getting a reply) we were surrounded by scenes to die for and yet we were put in room 221 which my wife summed up as one of the rooms in the nursing home she works in with alarm strings dangling in the bedroom and bathroom and our view from the window was the kitchen roof , was informed by a friendly staff member I got this room because of the way we had booked , so don't use booking.com to book here,

Great location and very accomodating staff, who arranged for our e-bikes to be stored securely and comfortably indoors. Lovely room with a view and an excellent kitchen.

Didn't know it was a pet friendly hotel - wasn't stated on booking site so was surprised to arrive to a lobby with 4 possibly 5 dogs sitting with their owners. The weather the day we arrived wasn't pleasant so lobby smelt like wet dog. Room we booked wasn't ready so we were reassigned to a room within the main building. Room was clean & basic but had the faint smell of dogs being there previously.

The service at checkin. The young lady was more interested in talking to one of the young servers. Also she did not have a pleasant personality. The carpet in the elevator was a bit yucky.

Booked the beach room which is at side off hotel an doesn't have a lift which was difficult for my husband to climb as we where on top floor. Hotel said they couldn't offer an other room as they where full.

Everything, room was very clean, huge bed, very comfy. Our room was a family room though it was only 2 of us. So there were three extra beds just off the main room. So this would be a great room for a family. Also the shower was great. Reception staff and dining room staff were all lovely, especially Kym on Reception. Lovely cooked breakfast

No access to the room via the hotel , evening staff weren’t very helpful or friendly The food was Luke warm and not hot for evening dinner There was not hotel parking , unless you wish to pay for private car park rear which was empty more or less In all not great value for the price and will put us off considering staying in the future , expect a lot better service and experience for the cost!
