There was nothing that we didn’t but found the en suite a little too small!

We felt so welcome as Darren was so good to keep us informed & even put the subtitles on TV for us as we are deaf. The room was so cosy & comfortable.

I think the only difficulty is trying to put modern facilities in a beautiful traditional room. The on-suite was a bit tight, but once we got used to the rolling movement you have to make around the door to get in and close it, all good. The modern headboard side table combo was very uncomfortable when sitting up in bed, as it jutted out into the back of your head. It would have looked and felt so much better with a standard padded headboard and tiny side tables.

This was a lovely hotel. Big old building, with great ceiling height, we had a lovely bay window, in a big airy room. Plenty of storage, table, chairs and a really comfy bed. Everything you need for your stay. The breakfast was delicious. great choice. We had a bowl of fruit with yoghurt and decided to have a bacon sandwich instead of a full English. I can honestly say the bacon was cooked just right and the soft brown bread was perfect. Lovely hosts/staff. Highly recommend.

I booked two rooms here for myself an my family. I was very impressed with the cleanliness, and comfort of the hotel. There was everything you could need, and the hotel owner Darren went out of his way to help. Breakfast was excellent too, quality food, well cooked and presented Would absolutely stay here again next time I’m in the area.

I loved everything about the hotel, nothing negative to say.

A very nice hotel, decent parking facilities, clean and comfortable throughout from reception,lobby to the rooms. The rooms are very comfortable indeed, furnished to a very high standard, lovely deep carpeted, nice seating and bed, with all the facilities needed TV, coffee and modern en-suite bathroom.

It was clean and nicely presented. Parking was good. The bed was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent and the owners were so friendly and welcoming.

We couldn't believe all the beautiful details in the room, it was pristine and everything had been thought out carefully and done with care. It was exceptionally clean. Beautiful. The breakfast was cooked to order, fresh and the fruit cups were freshly cut fruit. The cooked breakfast was cooked to order. Such care taken. Afterwards, we had a meeting and they let us sit in the garden to have the meeting or in the breakfast room after our check out, which was very kind. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Perfect and very good value for money.

The only point I can say is that it’s not extremely disability friendly and doesn’t offer a lift or anything for guests who need some assistance, I can understand this however as it’s a small hotel.

It was extremely clean and comfortable. It didn’t feel sterile, more homely and comfortable. Although situated on a main road it was very quiet and I slept amazing, the rooms are a lovely size and the staff couldn’t have been any kinder or more tending.
