I think it would be great to have more commun spaces that are not linked to the restaurant.

This is a great option to discover an amazing neighborhood. The decor of the restaurant and bar is very interesting and quirky. The rooms are well organized with fun little decor touches.

I only wish we hadn't been on the ground floor (this made us wary of having our curtains open when we were not in the hotel room). Otherwise, nothing!

Very comfortable hotel in the trendy neighborhood of Shoreditch (I was really happy we stayed here as opposed to somewhere "central", because there was a lot less hustle and bustle and felt cozier). So easy to just hop on the bus to go to Central London, if that's what you're after (just prepare to set aside ~30 mins on transport). Great breakfast with a pretty broad selection.

I don't agree with promoting pornography. You make a point of saying you have free porn on your TV. This is funding porn. I am paying for this as part of my fee. I don't want to fund porn because it is an exploitative industry.

Our twin room was great - lots of space and with a little sitting area and coffee/tea making facilities. Even though we were on the first floor, the sound proofing was really good and we couldn't hear any noise from the bar below. Hotel location is great for Columbia road flower market and Broadway market. There is a bus stop right outside (though it's less convenient for the Tube). The whole place has a very funky vibe and is very modern. We didn't have breakfast included, but went to Ozone coffee roasters right behind the hotel.

The heating/ventilation blew cold air onto our faces/necks when we were in bed. Not much room beside the bed for books, watches, tissues, drinks, etc.

Cool reception area, dining area was great - lovely for brunch or lunch! Bedroom was well laid out and roomy enough for two. Bathroom was functional with a great shower. Close to station, and good bars, coffee shops within easy reach, as is Broadway Market.

Our room was very small, not much space other than the bed but our friends room (same type and price) was larger so it depends on where you are placed. Masks on the bedside lamps a bit creepy

Although we liked the hotel, there were two main things that spoiled our stay; 1. Our room had an adjoining door to another room. The occupant next door was really noisy and we could hear all of the noise through the door so this disrupted our sleep. 2. The aircon didn’t work and the room was sweltering which was bad timing with the heat wave

The trend of these type of hotels is to have a trendy bar, karaoke on the TV but to completely remove some of the stuff I really need from a hotel like to be able to contact reception, order room service (even though there is a restaurant you can't order room service), a wardrobe to store my clothes etc. Style over substance.
