Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

On arriving the entrance area gives a great first impression, and the reception staff followed this through with really good, friendly service! Our room was lovely with brilliant shower/bathroom. Breakfast was very good too. We booked in for dinner on our last night and the meal was really good. I chose steak and it was the best I have had in a long while.

United KingdomThe cooked breakfast was poor not the standard i have had at other Malmaison hotels. I requested an ashtray for use outdoors the bar staff just said they are outside, I explained there wasn't and he just shrugged his shoulders and walked off...not helpful
The location was perfect for us, and multi storey carpark next door. The bar area and outside seating was lovely. The room was lovely and clean, nice comfy bed.

The room was nicely appointed and very clean. A cloudburst soaked us at the tail end of our walk from the Lime Street station. The manager waiting at the door handed us warm, clean towels to dry off. The timing was perfect. When I revisit Liverpool, there is no doubt where I will stay.

The exterior and lounge were very modern and classy. Breakfast was lovely, and refillable hot drinks using machines were available.

This is our second time at this hotel, and we were made very welcome again. The room was lovely and clean. Very comfortable throughout. It has a massive bath and walk-in shower. It also has a fantastic view of the ships that dock there. Will definitely be going again.

Well the proximity to everything was perfect. From parking up next door in the car park to accessing the touristy areas of Liverpool. The room at the hotel was lovely. The bed was the comfiest bed ever for me! The staff were all really pleasant and professional too.

Gorgeous decor throughout, staff where phenomenal, the bathroom was absolutely amazing. View was fantastic also! The little touches like a shower cap, sanitary products and cotton pads really made it! Also they're not tight with the little milks! More than enough for a brew on arrival and a brew before bed! More than just 4 channels on TV and comfortable beds! The whole stay was just elegant!
