Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room was very modern and clean. The option to have a bar token instead of room clean on second day was appreciated. Very classy reception and bar area. A short walk from all the attractions of the docks and riverside.

United KingdomLighting throughout the hotel dim, very trendy decor but the tiles in shower were a little old & worn. Lifts relatively fast but small & a little cramped.
Upgraded on arrival, very pleasant check in staff. Large room with view of the Mersey, nice tea,coffee choice in room & also chocolates and biscuits. Sky sports in room a bonus! The hotel is well situated to explore the docks & Liverpool one.

United KingdomI called reception asking for a face flannel as there wasn’t one in the room, gentleman on reception said he’d call back and never did. Rainfall shower was lukewarm and poor pressure.
Good location, boujee decor and friendly staff. Rooms pretty standard but clean and comfortable. Bar and restaurant on site, mid-priced. Left our luggage with the hotel on our last stage who took good care of it.

United KingdomPillows (no support at all) and duvet were not very comfy. Package was offered as a tequila sunrise package, with 2 free cocktails, but we were told they don't do cocktails!
We paid 269 for a one.nigjt stay, when we arrived we found out breakfast wasn't included,.and would be an extra 22 pp. I think thr room rate was excessive and should include breakfast. There are no reduced rates for thr carpark.next door (which there used to be so am extra 18 for 24 hours parking).

United KingdomRather expensive for its locality. Shower was luke warm, couldnt book evening meal or breakfast on internet, kept taking us too booking an event page. Rather far out from centre so would expect better parking facilities, even pickup had to pay, double yellow lines everywhere, too many car restrictions in the area.

United Arab EmiratesAppreciating that I visited during a busy weekend (2 Liverpool matches and Annual Cheltenham Race) the breakfast was a little slow and could be more slightly more expansive.
The room was very comfortable and spacious, despite a dripping show noise, with amble room to work if required. The breakfast was decent, scrambled eggs could use some work, but overall very satisfying despite the limited options.
