The stairs up to the top floor required intensive concentration, which was not enjoyable when having to go down and back up to use the bathroom. Far removed from the sights of Liverpool (but accessible by bus and a bit of a walk).

Clean, bright, and cheerful. I was very grateful that my request for an early bag drop was accommodated. It was within a reasonable hike to the football stadiums.

Everything was to my expectations. There was nothing I didn’t like.

This property exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. I had a room facing the back of the property so slept well. The owners added a nice touch of having a kettle and tea and coffee in the room alongside a plate and cutlery. I felt comfortable will be returning . The bathrooms and toilet were clean, the property looked clean and smelt fresh throughout.

It would benefit from another bedside table, a desk and chair, along with some thicker blackout curtains. A fan for the hot evenings would be a real bonus.

On the day of arrival, I was sent instructions on how to access the property and the room. There is a key safe on the front door, and the individual room has a code. We were allocated room two on the ground floor at the back. It’s very spacious with a large wardrobe under the stairs, a side table, a Kettle, and a small selection of tea and coffee sachets, but only one cup and one milk are provided despite it being a double room. Linen and towels were freshly laundered and the room was clean if a little sparse. The two shower rooms are upstairs and very clean, though the cubicles are very small. The shower worked very well; the water was hot and has good pressure. There was a kitchen at the back on the ground floor which we had access to, but there’s not much in it in terms of crockery and pans, etc. Fortunately, we were only staying one night, but the fridge was clean. The area is quiet and I was able to park on the street for free was a bonus as a lot of the area is Permit parking only. Great value stay that could be vastly improved with some simple additions.

Bed was a bit uncomfortable but that's maybe just my preference.

Location was excellent for Ainfield (30 mins walk) easy to gain access, room was clean and there was everything you need for somewhere to lay your head. Clean and facilities were decent. Bed wasn't the comfiest but it was ok for one night and for the price.

Multiple guests knocked on my room as they were having problems with the hotel - one man had driven 100 miles to find his room cancelled with no notification, another had no code for his room, and then tried to enter mine. This left me feeling unsafe in the hotel. Windows wouldn’t close, meaning it was teeth-chatteringly cold on Autumn nights. Whilst the staff were relatively helpful to myself and colleagues, other guests reported them unavailable to answer the phone, one guest sleeping in his car when he was struggling to enter the property. I spent the first day of my trip trying to get the code for my second room, which wasn’t initially provided, and staff made several blunders including telling me I had booked a double room for myself and my colleague to share, when instead I had booked a twin. I felt lucky we were able to actually stay in Majestic Inn, given the experience of other guests, turning up at night and being unable to access their rooms. If any problems occur, staff are too far away to assist. I would not stay here again.

The room on the top floor has a tricky staircase. The room is not really equipped with anything other than a bed, but for one night it was enough.

The house is renovated, the room and the bathrooms are clean. There was a kettle, tea and coffee. The bed was really comfortable. We got what we paid for. Also easy transport to centre.

The location is great, the property is clean and beds are comfortable. I stayed for two nights, there were no problems. I have stayed on the accommodation on a number of occasions due to feeling safe, having nice clean accommodation and the ability to sleep well.
