Great location , comfortable stay and excellent food in the restaurant. Staff were very welcoming and will stay here again in the future and would recommend to friends and family

The bed was uncomfortable however everyone has a comfort preference. The decor in the room could be given a little freshening up, there were stains on the carpet and the walls were grubby in places. If you want a good night sleep a room not opposite the main road would be better for you (avoid Moses).

The restaurant and staff were amazing! The food was very tasty and well priced. Fabulous location! You could also request a late check out (an extra hour) for £20. The overall price was perfect and we would return.

The room was okay but a strange shape which meant the bed area was a little cramped and quite dark. The window only lit up one half of the room - the view across the roof was disappointing and the window frame was definitely in need of some tlc!

Stayed here several times before. Staff and location really good. Rooms are spacious and comfy. Bathroom really good to. Evening food really nice and plenty to choose from. Added bonus of Nespresso machine in the room.

Carpets in the rooms were a bit worn and a few rips in the curtains but not a massive deal breaker. Pros outweighed the cons.

The decor in the rooms was nice, bathrooms looked great. Good shower! Lots of parking, comfy bed. Staff very friendly and smiley.

Room was a cosy double which was more than adequate for a one night stay. It was clean and well equipped. We had a meal in the pub restaurant which was very good and the service was excellent.

Noticed stains in carpet by wardrobe in our room. Also the net curtain was torn.

Excellent breakfast. Appreciated the little changes made to the customer's taste. All very tasty. Loved the bedroom but extra care was needed stepping into the bathroom. Really comfortable bed!

Being on a main road the traffic noise was constant. Some ear plugs in the room would’ve helped! Some parts of the room looking a bit tired and some of the furnishings (cushion, curtain and net curtain) could do with replacing.

Food was great and the staff were friendly and attentive. The location was good and the surroundings were beautiful! The room was a good size, comfy bed and fluffy towels. Good water pressure in the shower. The amenities of the hotel were great and lots of parking.

Sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable in the family room. Lots of stairs to reach the room.

Lovely bar and restaurant, great food & cocktails. Friendly staff. Car charging point on site was great for us after a long journey.

Given that there's thought put into the loose leaf tea and coffee machine, it was a shame there were no biscuits in the room. We would love to see clean air monitoring in the restaurant and bar, and use of hepa filters.

The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. We've stayed a number of times before, and will be returning. We like that there are a small number of rooms, and that it's not a huge hotel. It's lovely having loose leaf teabags in the room, and that there are opening windows.

The price is a little high for the quality of the room when breakfast isn't included. If I needed to stay near Derrby again at look more closely at other options but would still consider the farmhouse

The room was comfortable but decor was an unsuccessful attempt at "upscale, shabby chic"; the painted rough timber was a bit industrial. Added to this, the decor elsewhere in the room was tired and looked as if it had been "done on the cheap". Public areas were better but the restaurant was quite cool when we ate dinner at 7.30pm. The food was fine but we didn't have breakfast as it wasn't included in the rate.

There is damp wall and dirty carpet

The hotel is nice but unfortunately they had a gas leak so no hot water and no heating for the night but they gave us a free breakfast which we are happy with. Bed is comfort and the size of the room is reasonable.

Breakfast was poor, little choice from a fixed menu, tea or coffee was another few quid each on top, overall poor value for momney, especially considering the room had great tea and coffee making facilities.

Dinner was good, typical pub menu, nice room with great tea and coffee making facilities.

The pub and abr area had a great atmosphere, very large with plenty of room. Bedroom was very nice and well equiped, very comfotable bed, we slept very well. Breakfast was very good.
