Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWe arrived at 3pm and our room was not ready until 5pm. We were there for the Barry Manilow show at CoOp Live as were many others and staff were aware of this as they mentioned it in check in. We had to be at the arena for 6.30pm so this did not leave much time to settle in the room and get ready. Bar food service was slow waited nearly an hour for burger and chips even though there was hardly anyone ordering food at that time (4pm in the afternoon). On returning after the show only one person serving behind the bar, there was a huge queue and they had run out of some drinks. Two other staff members tried to assist but they didn’t seem to know what they were doing, they struggled to understand what people wanted and then struggled to find it behind the bar. I had to point to what I wanted. That member of staff then walked off and a manager tried to open my bottle of Prosecco with a corkscrew and I had to tell him that’s not how you open it and told him he had to pop the cork. After opening it he also walked off and I had to ask the third member of staff if I could pay for it so I could take it away and drink it. They had no suitable bucket with ice to put it in they gave me a corona bucket I’ve never seen bar service like it. There was no coordination between the staff behind the bar and they were clearly not trained in bar work. Many guests in the queue were fed up and some complained to Reception. As the hotel is likely to be busy for many CoOp Live events they really need to get their act together and get rooms ready earlier and get some trained bar staff and be much more efficient at serving drinks and food. Plan ahead and if you know you will have many guests returning from a show and the bar will be busy make sure it is well stocked and you have enough trained staff to cope with the demand otherwise it is a disappointing end to an enjoyable night.
Reception staff helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and beds very comfortable. Food was cooked nice. Good range of breakfast options. The hotel is in a good location only a few minutes walk from Manchester Piccadilly station and only three tram stops from CoOp Live arena.

United KingdomThe car park was a nightmare to find initially and quite expensive for an overnight park. The bed was also broken on one side and room itself seemed quite bland with little character.
The property was in a great location in the centre of Manchester, and had a lovely reception area downstairs. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely bathroom facilities with a spacious shower and bath, and plenty of mirrors.

United Kingdomthe manager at the bar in the evening didnt help the poor barman out at all, as useful as a chocolate tea pot, the manager had no idea what he was doing! there was a big queue waiting to be served and he did his best to make himself look busy, I think he thought serving drinks was below him! The barman did an excellent job in very difficult circumstances

United KingdomShower in the bathroom was quite tight to get in and out of as door was very small. There was no dressing table to do hair and make up. No biscuits were provided on the coffee tray. The hotel is a shirt walk away from the train station and on one occasion I was woken early hours of the morning with a train entering the station blowing its horn.
Upon arrival we were upgraded to an executive suite. The room we were given was spacious and the bed was big and comfy. We had a nice sitting area on our room and has robes, slippers, coffee machine and a fridge with water.

United KingdomWork going on was quite disruptive and noisy and although this was made clear before the visit it was more extensive that expected. Eg scaffolding outside the window. This wasn't reflected in the price with it still being an expensive stay.

United KingdomThe lack of staff on the bar of a Sunday evening, we returned from a show at the co-op arena. There was a queue (which we joined) for the bar and people had already been queueing nearly half an hour. 2 young people are working behind the bar and the service was very slow, after people had queued for half an hour or more they were told that the bar was now closed at 11.30 and would not serve us. The manager of the bar was no help at all and not interested that people had been left for half an hour queueing up. The manager literally closed the shutters on the bar & told people to use room service!! absolutely disgraceful customer service. If they did just got on and served people in the queue they could’ve closed, but instead he chose to stand waste time and argue with the queue of guests. People just wanted a drink to sit and reflect on their evening and their stay at the hotel.
