The bathroom had one light sticking out and the tub felt a bit unsafe as it wobbled whilst i tried to shower. The shower head could have been higher.

I enjoyed my stay at M&B due to the place being clean and everything was in its place. It was peaceful and comfortable. I was able to enjoy the internet as the speeds was very good.

Could off had a tv in the room, the shower could be a bit higher up as had to kneel down. Bath Mat would be great as the floor can get slippy when wet so had to place one off my towels down also a non slip mat in the bath when using the shower as also can get slippy

The host was very friendly and answered any questions I had. The place was clean and tidy

The stairs up to the room were steep, I really had to watch my footing when carrying bags etc. A bit of a pain having to go up and down stairs to the toilet/bathroom regularly. Also sound travelled easily as I could hear phone conversations from other rooms, so not a lot of privacy in that way.

The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. I wasn't expecting milk/cereal etc to be stocked in the kitchen so that was a nice touch. Wifi was good.

The stairs was my problem I have 2 false knees one only done in January. Didn't realise that toilet was down stairs if I had I would not have booked it I also suffer with fybromyalga when I had the stumble on the stairs I knew I had to get home fast as I knew that I was starting with a fybromyalga flare up and I would have been stuck in the bed for days. If you wish to read up on fybromyalga you get why I could only stay one night. After the stumble I had no choice but to use the waste paper bin to have a wee. Sorry I did wash it out

I would have liked to be notified of the code to the key locker earlier, because I didn't pick up the message until after I had struggled unsuccessfully to open it in the dark. I didn't use the shared bathroom coz the I could see from a distance that the toilet was overflowing with toilet paper. Available free parking nearby was difficult to find.

Extremely clean room in a quiet backstreet. Prompt, effective assistance from the owner when I phoned her with a problem.

No heating or hot water this time. Awkward layout of bedside cabinet and lamp - moved them where they were more convenient like in the pictures though that left a trailing wire from the lamp. There’s another double socket by the bed, one is blocked, the other works but too far away from the lamp if you move them like I did. You can charge your phone from it though. Wifi works but some sites don’t, must be restricted. Loose tap in the bathroom sink so it moves as you use it. Loose hinge on toilet seat/lid in the bathroom so it opens/closes at an angle instead of straight up and down. Booking.com mentions there are bathrobes, slippers and a hairdryer, been in all of the 4 rooms and have yet to see them, not that I need them. No iron or ironing board, would be useful and plenty space downstairs for them. Also mentions a tea and coffee maker as well as a kettle but there’s just a kettle.

Complimentary biscuit in room 3. Milk in fridge and milk sachets.

Very steep stairs to room. Bizarre toilet with a tap on top. All bathrooms downstairs, so had to use the aforementioned stairs. Also creaky floorboards

Squeaky bed in room 4. No complimentary biscuits, there were in room 2. 2 of the windows (In the kitchen and on the landing) can’t be closed. The shower head isn’t very high up the wall so you have to bend down a bit if you’re 6ft or over. Could do with a shower curtain although as you get 2 bath towels, you can put one down so the floor doesn’t get soaked. Still no milk so had to make do with black coffee.

Comfy bed. Wifi. Good bathroom and separate WC. Clean & fresh smelling. Bin in room 4. Wardrobe and floor aren’t noisy. Staff. More white sugars available than last time.

No tv. Lock on the room door was broken and couldn’t get in so was given a room upstairs. Had booked what I worked out was a ground floor room because I was supposed to take a suitcase there but wasn’t gonna try lugging it up the narrow stairs and break my neck. Was suggested I could leave it downstairs but assumed there would be other guests (which there weren’t in the end), so left it where it was. No can opener. No milk. No bin in the room. Creaky floorboards and noisy wardrobe when walking around the room. Heating didn’t come on til the morning so was cold. I could’ve said something but it was just for one night and someone already came after a phone call about the lock. In the email it said check out was between 10 & 11 but (one of?) the owner(s) came after 10 and said it was by 10, after explaining and a phone call she said ok and left.

The price. Not as bad as Blue house. Helpful staff. Wifi. Comfy bed. Clean & fresh smelling.

The bed, which was new and clean, was very squeaky for some reason. The slightest movement made a lot of noise, which woke me up a number of times.

It's good value. It's not too far from the centre. It's backstreets, but it seemed safe enough. It was very clean throughout. The instructions were clear.

A shower curtain, or some kind of shower screen would be a suggestion as floor gets soaked whilst showering. When I stayed it was extremely cold weather. Temps not getting above freezing for the week I stayed. This made the property very cold indeed. Maybe look at bleeding radiators, (I bled my radiator in my room) increase the boiler temperatures when cold to help keep the property warm, warmer.

Bathroom needs a shower curtain. No working fire alarm in room the one on landing still covered with tape from decorating. Bedroom was cold radiator needs bleeding as only heating half the radiotor

This bed and bedding was so comfortable, was such bliss after a long day at work. The room was very spacious and had plug sockets right by the bed. Lock on the door so you feel super safe, and great kitchen area with bread, milk and cereal (plus a little more); two solid bathroom/toilets which was great when sharing with other guests. communication with the host was amazing and they even showed me a great place to park nearby (Charles Street) that was pretty cheap considering all the surrounding parking is permit only.

The most weird experience i faced in this property yesterday, there's was no blankets in the room and heating system is not working, water was too cold for shower and toilet was not cleaned. Owner/Manager was too arrogant Lady i would not recommend this property to anyone

Took me 10 minutes to open the number pad box to get at the keys. I had the number, and the little lever moved but box didn't want to open :-(

The bed for the price of 30pounds is completely rip off.The mattress is poor and the stair case is too steep for the elderly. The noise from the room 1 was deafening and remained alnight. Quite unfortunate and real bad
