Nothing apart from maybe being offered brown or white toast for breakfast but I am being very picky!!

The location was perfect for us, off a main road but quiet. Breakfast was superb and our host went the extra mile to make sure we were looked after in every aspect. The lodge was warm and cozy and very comfortable.

We loved our stay at Lyonshall Lodge, to break up our journey to Wales. Isabelle was the perfect host, and was very kind to my son, taking the time to chat with him (he does like to talk!), and even gave him some biscuits. She also provided us with plates for the picnic food we had brought with us. The bed was comfy, the shower lovely, and breakfast was plentiful and cooked perfectly! I was grateful for the tea and coffee facilities in the room. Great value for money!

The host was was really nice. Nothing too much trouble. Was very helpful with places to eat in the area. Room was was spotless. Very comfortable bed and a great night's sleep. The breakfast was delivered to us and was very tasty. Overall 10 out 10. Will definitely be staying there again. Very highly recommended.

Our overnight stay at the Lyonshall Lodge was amazing. We were blown away with the size of the lodges, once inside there really is plentiful space. The host Isabelle is fantastic in every way, she really cannot do enough for her clients and definitely goes over and above for all. The location, lodge, service and the atmosphere in the area really did surpass our expectations! It’s 10/10 all around! We stayed here for one night ahead of the Royal Welsh show 2024, which was very pleasant. During the evening the weather was beautiful, which we took advantage of by sitting on the balcony furniture, viewing the sunset with a little picnic, watching the world go by! The breakfast options were amazing, more than big enough portions (even for the biggest of eaters). The breakfast (cooked or continental) is pre-booked the evening before and delivered into your lodge (onto the dining table) at a pre-arranged time. Again, the food and service were both faultless! We would definitely recommend this lovely little gem to anybody who’s looking to escape for a few nights away. We will definitely be back!! 😎

Gate way a little tight to get in, as in the country a view would have been nice.

The light coming through the window in the door. It would benefit from a little curtain as the morning light at 4am woke me.

There was nothing to dislike. There was a little traffic noise but nothing distracting or that would disturb sleep.

Beautiful location, close to Kington and its takeaways, restaurants and shops where the locals were helpful and friendly. Isabelle couldn’t have been more welcoming and accommodating. All instructions were very clear regarding how to find the place, check in and out times, and there was lots of flexibility. The room was clean and comfortable and had a lovely basket of goodies. I slept incredibly well. A delicious full English breakfast was brought to my room in the morning at an arranged time. I would definitely return if I was in the area. A lovely stay.

Beautiful cabin with excellent facilities, comfy bed and great shower. Fantastic breakfasts and Isabelle was extremely friendly and accommodating . Would thoroughly recommend.

We couldn't fault this B & B. Comfortable ,clean and lots of extras such as nibbles, chocolate and dressing gowns. Breakfast was delicious and brought to the room by Isabelle. Highly recommended.
