It would have been nice for the bed to be made and bins emptied. I know you can request this but ( and I don’t believe Covid restrictions etc should still be a reason not to) it would be a nice thing to have as a ‘standard’.

Breakfast was good quality and very nicely packaged The room was spacious and very nicely presented. The bed was very comfy. Loved the bathroom leading onto our own sun terrace. Having a safe was a good idea.

Only thing I can remember is that there was a personal hygiene things after last guest in the shower but otherwise it was perfect and the staff was super helpful :) .

Very cosy hotel with nice views in center of town. Beautiful terrace where we enjoyed breakfast from basket with our friends.

This isn't a "didn't like", but perhaps more selection on the breakfast menu.

Perfect location. Staff were very hands-off, which we like. Lovely, clean room. When we wanted the room cleaned, fresh towels etc, we just had to send a request via text. We were on the ground floor and had a small outside area to enjoy. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again.

I didn't see any staff that often. So I couldn't explain my unusual breakfast problems that I had because I needed to be down on the seafront by 7:30 in the morning to help with the exhibition.

I liked that you could walk beside the building and directly behind. There was a lovely park leading down onto the seafront. But if you walked the other way you had a co-op Tesco's and all of the fossil shops that you could dream of.

3rd stay (at least) at Lyme1 - best place in the area, great location and lovely rooms. Staff attentive and helpful as always. Breakfast hamper always feels like a lovely treat.

No lift. However normally would be no problem but I had broken my ankle recently and coming down stairs was uncimfortable. Should have checked beforehand.

The Nespresso machine was not working properly and there were no decaffeinated 'pods' available.

The guest house is ideally situated in Lyme Regis with easy access to local bars and restaurants. The quality of the continental breakfast (brought to our room) exceeded our expectations. The availability of filtered still and sparkling water 'on tap' was a real plus. The room was very comfortable.
