    Cosy flat with all necessities

It's on the ground floor and you have to walk down stairs. It may not suitable for those with less mobility or having big luggage.

The property is bigger than what I expected. It has a big living room, kitchen with all essential appliances and even washing machine. Some complained about the sofa bed but I find it ok. The bedroom is cosy and warm. Location is perfect for any travellers.

The sofa legs has been removed meaning the sofa sat directly on floor, not great if you have long legs. The tv didn’t work, my partner works nights so often he can’t sleep on days off , so likes to watch TV during the night. It was advertised with a streaming device but there wasn’t one. There was a dvd linked to TV but no dvds. Messaged & called the host but got no reply, still haven’t. Kept stubbing toe on the bedroom floor as there was a gap due to threshold missing.

Property was very clean, great location. Comfortable bed, good shower.

Great place to stay, spoiled by lack of maintenance
    • Leisure trip
    • Family with young children
    • One-Bedroom Apartment
    • Stayed 2 nights

Not especially clean, tired looking & in need of maintenance: blinds broken & a safety hazard with loose metal rod at eye level, a broken door stop/ stool with nails sticking out, broken & uncomfortable sofa bed, broken fridge door handle, courtyard had two dirty rugs dumped in it, missing light bulb, leaky coffee machine, hot water difficult to manage & host unresponsive when phoned (message box full) and messaged. Pity because it had clearly been renovated to a good standard once (good quality worktops etc)

Great location in the centre of Bath &, surprisingly, really quiet. Conveniently close to everything, including city carparks, and description of which carpark to use was helpful. Some coffee/tea was provided, as were some toiletries in the bathroom, which was a nice touch

We were 3 friends and needed to use the sofa bed which was Very uncomfortable:( There was no hand soap in the bathroom or kitchen :( we used the shampoo of which there were many available, though sadly they were in plastic containers:( There were no recycling bins:(

It was clean. The bed and linen was very comfortable, top quality fresh & clean The coffee machine was a lovely extra. The kitchen contained everything you’d need The whole apartment was cozy & warm. The bathroom was beautiful with a very good shower. shampoo & conditioner provided in complimentary little bottles The towels provided were top quality white cotton & plentiful:) Plenty of mirrors and a great hairdryer. Lots of storage space. The apartment is in the heart of Bath, very close to the beautiful Cathedral and plenty of places to eat, drink and be entertained close by. With the apartment still being lovely and quiet:)

The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and the legs had broke so it was on the floor. Uncomfortable as a sofa and a bed. Also a few things were broken but usable, such as the the fridge handle and some bits of the flooring. The bed, bedding and towels were great and clean but the apartment could do with a deep clean - cobwebs, dirty tissue left, crumbs on table and a fork left under the bed from previous residents. Nothing major to affect our stay drastically but a few areas of attention needed

Loved the location, couldn't be any better. Also felt really secure and safe. Owners seem really friendly and good with communication. Nice touch with coffee machine and great facilities available. Definitely enough space for three people to stay

Bed sofa in living room too low could do with being at least 10cm higher. Also blind controls need fixing. However would still recommend and return if staying in Bath again.

Superb location, apartment fresh and clean with kitchen having tea and coffee and all appliances Inc dishwasher and washing mc available.

Nothing really. The only problem we had was that I didn’t receive the message, sent via Booking.com, giving us the keycode. This was not the fault of the owner as he definitely sent it, I just didn’t receive it. It actually arrived at 2000 hrs that night and the message was very comprehensive and detailed everything we needed to know. I just wondered if it would be worth sending the message via email as well to cover eventualities? If it wasn’t for the help of a very kind lady round the corner we may not have been able to get into the property until quite late as the owner was abroad and not answering his phone.

The property was very convenient for the Christmas market, which was the reason for our visit. I didn’t find it noisy at all as stated on some reviews. The apartment had everything you needed for a longer stay, although we didn’t use much of it as we only stayed one night. When I visit Bath again I would definitely return to stay here.

Beautiful apartment but host not responsive!

A few things weren't what I expected. Firstly, the entrance to the flat is covered in scaffoldings as the building under repair. You need to be careful while entering and exiting the flat so as to nothing falls on you. I'm sure after the repairs, it will become clean. Secondly, the sofabed is not at all comfortable for the third person. We slept on the floor in the drawing room. The wardrobe had extra bedding (perhaps everyone does that!). Thirdly, the host messaged once when we checked-in. Later, to enquire about the sofa bed and heating, I sent at least 10 messages to the host, called them, left a voice message but no reply whatsoever. This wasn't expected. This is the main reason I'm reducing my rating to 7/10.

The flat was very clean, with a fabulous interior decor. You will find all the necessities in there. The kitchen was very well equipped. The bedroom was spacious and the double bed was comfortable. The drawing room was very tastefully decorated. OVerall it gives you the feeling of a home.

The building next to the apartment is under renovation work and scaffolding supports are erected at the entrance and access to the apartment - concerns on safety and security. The TV, the Bose speaker and some lamps did not work - sign of not properly maintained.

The location is very convenient and kitchen facilities are good.

Sofa bed not comfy, had to use extra duvet underneath to make it a little better. couldn’t find sheets/mattress protector either for sofa, just duvet and pillows. Shower only had enough hot water for 2 showers at a time, could do with combi in there or better boiler to cope with providing more hot water.

Location was amazing, so central and very private and quiet. Really nice basement apartment, photos don’t do it justice. Bedroom lovely and comfy bed. Lovely big towels for everyone and tea/coffee facilities really good, nice touch with milk, plenty there for the weekend and 3 adults. Nice kitchen with everything you need. Good value for money for 3 adults considering Christmas markets were on.

Just be aware that the entrance is in a little alley just off to the side of the street, and that the booking.com pin code is NOT the code for the key lockbox. If travelling by car, parking is expensive in Bath - £16 per day in public car parks. But apparently you can park in residential streets for free and walk in about 30 mins. We found a loading area close to the apartment giving 20 minutes free parking - on "Terrace Walk" next to a coach pick up. Just enough time to get in the property and unload bags from the car, before going to park the car. Be aware traffic wardens are strict though, so 20 mins is a maximum. If you're a perfectionist then remember this is a rental property and although it is kitted out very well and looks very new, if you look carefully it shows signs of use. On occasion you can hear someone moving about the property above, but only faintly - not a problem. However I would rate it as excellent overall - well above most others. Not the same as staying in a top hotel, but brilliant for having the space and facilities of an entire apartment, in an fantastic location, for a good price.

Amazing location right in the heart of Bath, couldn't get any closer to the Abbey or Baths. Yet also quite private and quiet. Very well equipped, full kitchen facilities, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher with lots of tablets supplied, Nespresso coffee machine with pods, selection of tea bags, virtually new toaster & microwave, washing machine, etc. Nice amount of space. Enough to live there permanently! The apartment is one of the basement apartments, but with a nice private entrance area. Host was very responsive and corrected anything that wasn't quite right straight-away.

Unfortunately the washing machine did not dry properly. The sofa bed was unfortunately, not comfortable at all. The TV was very old and would not accept a USB (for movies we brought from home), nor was it connected to the internet to allow streaming (such as Netflix). However, in fairness, the owner told us that he had just acquired the property and he would be changing out the sofa bed and the ancient TV, and had called a repair company to fix the washer/ dryer.

Extremely convenient to everywhere! The refrigerator was great - full size. Great kitchen facilities - the fry pan was not warped and the nonstick was intact! A first in our trip. There were plenty of drink choices - tea and coffee. The bed in the bedroom was comfy. Large living room. The host was extremely responsive for any issues.

There was no third bed in the appartement. Our son had to sleep on the couch without bed wear. Not sure if it got forgotten or if not foreseen. The shower was leaking water, no luxury in the badroom - kind of moisty. There are no indications for recycling paper, glass and aluminium.

We got the appartement No8. Fantastic location in the heart of Bath. Sympatic basement appartement with kitchen. The main bed was confortable, the bedroom and living room cozy. Big fridge to store food and drinks. Everything was clean.
