Noisy but only due to central location

First impression was the smell, yes it's a dog friendly place but went out to buy air freshener. My first room was, yes as booked a single but the bed was really low it had no legs on it, it would of suited a toddler,I had to roll off it to get up, the base board was loose, ended up with ripped skin on my leg which bled a lot. When I mentioned this I had message to say that the builder was coming to screw it back on. Spoke to housekeeper even she said you cant stay in that room for 6 nights. I had another message to say I could move to another room, it was lovely the bed was so comfortable but, a room in progress I got the impression of. It was explained that a leak had happened and the ceiling was waiting to be plastered but a couple nights later another leak occurred. The windows are so high I managed to close the bedroom one with the use of a coat hanger the bathroom one I couldn't reach even if I had had the nerve to stand on the loo so it was freezing in there, the floor had at least 2 sharp points sticking up out of the floor. I think that the owner needs to finish the rooms before renting them out.

No staff around at all during our stay had 2 visitors knock on our room door late at night saying it was there room and room was little tired looking, no shower and a very small bath

The bathroom has a bath without a shower, it's difficult to shower.

Seemed half finished, but looks like it's recently renovated. The bar wasn't ready (could see through the window it's still a building site). The bathroom was basic and again seemed half finished but still served its purpose (no shower only a bath). Windows seemed dirty and lots of condensation, but they were cleaned while we were there so guess its just the sea air! About a 20 minute walk to the tower. No breakfast.

Spacious room, we got a very good room rate so excellent value, coffee machine, comfortable beds, nice details like nice headboards to make it feel more upmarket, nice big windows with lots of light, chairs in room, tv, free on road parking outside if you can get a space which we did!

Bathroom could do with some TLC

Lovely place and in a great location. Bedroom was lovely and fresh, nice comfy bed.

Smell of wet dog going up stairs & in room slightly. No shower in room. Bathroom was a little bit dirty & toilet leaked at front slightly.

Location brilliant. Beds super comfy. Coffee machine is a nice touch. Relatively spacious room. Staff were lovely. Wee cafe across the road was delicious! Head boards were lovely! Hallway decor is stunning!!!

The room felt quite cold, the radiators were quite small for such a large room and they struggled to heat the room sufficiently, also we didn't have a shower in the bathroom, only a bath.

The decor and fittings were nice, the room had a coffee machine as well as a kettle, the TV was large high quality TV.

The fact that there was no shower was a problem for us, there was a bath but a shower is a must really!.. although this hotel is comfortable it definitely needs some TLC, the blinds in the room are very poor, they are damaged, dirty and cut unevenly, all of the windows are blown so there is condensation inside them which is a real shame as this room has a fabulous sea view that is obscured by condensation

The property has extremely comfortable beds, and on the surface looks very nice, the coffee machine is a nice touch even tho we didn’t use it,

Everything was perfect but we didn’t have towels so couldn’t use shower, not sure if this is something we were supposed to bring.
