Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomBasement room so no view, however I was only there for one night for an event at the Apollo. Although the room and bedding/towels were spotless I found a long hair in the shower (I don't have long hair). Towel for the shower could have been bigger (if you want a bath sheet take your own).
Easy walking distance from underground station and the Eventim Apollo. Quiet area with plenty of shops and eateries nearby. Room is quite small but it has everything you need and the heating is adjustable. Fridge in the room was an added bonus, all hotel rooms should have the same. Tea/coffee making facilities were good. Shower was hot, nice-smelling shower toiletries & plenty of water pressure. Staff were lovely, made me feel very welcome. Bed was big and comfortable, I had a good night's sleep. I would definitely stay here again.

United KingdomLayout of the rooms is unusual and the design is depressing. I wouldn't want to spend a lot of time in the room. It was sufficient for a one night stay. Pillows were flat and hard, the bed was two singles put together so constantly woke up in the gap in the middle. I don't believe the doors provide any sound proofing as it felt as though you should whisper if someone was in the corridor.
Staff were really polite, helpful, and made us feel welcome. Lobby was lovely and warm which is a pleasant surprise on entry.

NetherlandsThe only thing we did not like (although it was not unbearable) was a very distinct smell (either humid or chemical smell) in the comforter cover. This may have been due to the method of washing. We notified the hotel staff at check-out and they were very understanding and informed us they would look into it.
We enjoyed the hotel very much. Its location was perfect, very close to restaurants, shops, and the train station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The shower was excellent (pressure and temperature)! We would recommend this hotel and look forward to our next stay!

Czech RepublicThere was a few things that bothered me. But nothing I did not expect in three stars hotel at this price. Stains at the carpet was acceptable - I’m aware that hotel will not change whole carpet every time, I understand that. What I don’t understand is why I had cracked tea cup in our room. Like, there was a part of the cup missing and few more cracks around the cup. I was worried to fill it with water. Can’t you just buy a new one ? Air condition was set to 15 degrees and there was no guide how to change it. After few minutes of trying to push every button i figured out, maybe. Few more details/final touches was here but nothing crucial. I was very satisfied after all. Very comfortable stay. I can recommend this accommodation.

United KingdomThey demanded to pre-authorise my card upon check-in for a pound and did not give a satisfactory explanation. They would not allow check-in without it, but the booking was non- refundable. They said it's "policy" in case of damage to the room. However, such a policy should have been clearly stated prior to booking.

SingaporeAbit of plumbing issue and top floor has smaller head space due to slanted roof. Check in was frustrating as they didn’t have the rooms prepared and was beyond the supposed check in time. Abit weird layout for the toilets and washing area but workable.
Hammersmith is a very good location for metro as there’s a few lines for connectivity. The walk from the metro to the hotel is short. Relatively new hotel.

Location - just 3-4mins walk from the station and bus stop is exactly infront of the main gate of the building. So many good and affordable restaurants as well like Bills and Capital restaurant with super delicious kebabs. There is also free washing machine to use in the basement.

United Arab EmiratesI hung the green sign at the door for 3 nights but I was not able to take any free drinks from the offer. I asked on the 3rd night and the guy from reception said I should've taken the free drinks once a night. I believe such a small gesture can be considered.
The location was amazing. Most of the staff were friendly. The room was minimalist but efficient in space, there were natural lightings, and it was nice to see that lifts were working in the building. Groceries and restaurants nearby. 5 minute walk to tubes.
