It was so peaceful and tranquil, just outside Richmond, loved the area it was situated on a farm the Shepherd Hut was great 👍🏻. Gill was so accommodating nothing was a problem the livestock wandering around the farm, sheep goats and chickens not forgetting the goose they are very friendly I was feeding them they visited for breakfast. Cannot wait to revisit .....Thank you Gill xxx

We loved everything.

Absolutely amazing accommodation, Gill was so welcoming and friendly, it was so lovely to see all the animals wondering around the farm in a natural habitat. The hut was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need including a few added extras such as cereal, biscuits milk and juice which was a lovely touch. We will certainly be back.

A unique accommodation that must be tried. Unbelievable setting with fantastic views. Farm animals roaming free made it all the more enjoyable. Hosts were exceptional and couldn't do enough for us. Excellent cooked breakfast using fresh eggs from the farm.

I recently had the pleasure of staying in the farms charming hut for a romantic getaway to celebrate my partner's birthday. I must say, the hospitality we received exceeded all expectations and made our experience truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine kindness from the owner. Their attentiveness and politeness created a welcoming atmosphere that immediately made us feel at home. It was clear that they genuinely cared about our comfort and enjoyment throughout our stay. One of the highlights of our stay was the afternoon tea provided by the owner. The selection of delicious treats and the attention to detail in presentation were truly impressive. We indulged in freshly brewed tea and savored every bite of the delectable pastries and sandwiches. It was the perfect way to relax and unwind in the cozy hut surroundings. Breakfast was another delightful experience. The owner went above and beyond to ensure a memorable start to our day. The variety of options, from freshly baked goods to savory dishes, catered to all tastes and preferences. Nothing everything was great no complaints. Every was as it said if not better.

Was very cosy lovely location me and my little girl thought it was Lovely that the owners had thought of everything in the hut even left us milk and fresh orange. Lovely lady that checked us in. Location is stunning we woke opened our blind to see baby lambs my little girl was so happy.

We absolutely loved it here. Gill and ang were massisly accomadating. Made us feel so much at home. Always on hand to answer any questions and help us and made our xmas really special. Fantastic location surrounded by chickens, friendly sheep, a lovely goat and a goose that guarded us all night! The hut provided us with all we needed for our stay.Would definitely recommend for a genuine farm experience.

Even with it throwing it down there was nothing we didn't like.

The little hut was beautiful, so peaceful and relaxing. Gill was a great host, and made us feel so very welcome. The breakfast was 10/10. The whole stay was so cosy and just what we needed to recharge. The little animals were the icing on the cake. Thank you again, we can't wait to book again!

Beautiful location, surrounded by lots of friendly farm animals. Nice footpath through fields and woods into town, avoiding the road. Hosts couldn't do enough. Fabulous breakfast. Brilliant weekend. Wish we could have stayed longer.
