Peter and Julie Anne were so welcoming, the property was lovely and the room a great size, really beautifully decorated to a high quality finish, and a lovely view of the garden. The lounge areas were really comfortable, as was the breakfast room. Breakfast was very tasty, and generous… Great location, 5 min walk from the beach, with a great local pub serving homemade food 2 mins walk away. A great quality, clean, welcoming, value for money place to stay… thank you Peter & Julie Anne 🙏🏼

The only thing that I would have liked would have been extra sockets in the bedroom near the mirror for hair drying, etc. I appreciate that the building is very old with extremely thick walls, so maybe not simple fix.

Fresh coffee in the lounge on arrival was very welcome - the two lounges for guest use were an added bonus. The breakfast was very enjoyable. Good variety of cereals, yogurt, etc and the cooked breakfast was just enough. Our hosts were friendly and helpful but very unobtrusive. The friendly pub across the road was good for evening meals without having to drive.

Low Fell guest house is a beautiful house. Very clean and the hosts were welcoming and friendly. The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The breakfasts were lovely. The location was great.. just a few minutes walk to the beach. Would highly recommend.

We loved the quiet location and the very comfy bed - slept so well. The breakfast was faultless and the pub opposite was a real bonus for the evening meal. It was lovely and clean and Peter is a great host.

Couldn’t be better.

Low Fell, Bardsea was the nicest B&B I’ve stayed in for a very, very long time. Friendly and accommodating hosts in a comfortably furnished character cottage with a lot of attention to detail evident. Upstairs and downstairs lounges available for guests together with a lovely upstairs sunny garden patio area. Pub a few yards down street for evening food and drink. Highly recommended.

This accommodation was in a quiet little village close to the sea. Just a small walk to the local pub where the meals were really good. The room was nice and big and the hosts were very helpful with local information. Would highly recommend this stay to everyone.

Honestly there is nothing not to like.

Loation in the village was very relaxing.The premises was amazing and the owners were very friendly with great local information which we used to enhance our stay. Absolutely top notch would highly recommend. Owners very proud of the house and passionate about customers having a good time. Couldnt praise enough without even mentioning the incredible breakfast.Great stay will be back.

Going home!

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The B&B is stunning, open planned with 2 large living room areas to chill. The outside space was absolutely beautiful with flowers and seating areas (so surreal). bedroom was luxurious. Clean and comfortable. The full english breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend Low Fell and will definitely be booking again 😀

Parking is limited to outside the house however Peter always ensures there is a space available for guests.

Fantastic and unique property. Full of character, and beautifully developed. Hosts were so nice and we're wonderful hosts. Breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious! Fabulous village location. Just a few minutes from Ulverston and the coast line. Would recommend 100%.

It was perfect!

What a wonderful place to stay! The hosts are very friendly, making you feel welcome from the moment your arrive. The B&B is very traditional in it's setting but also very modern and up to date. The room was cozy and comfortable, with many special, personal touches and breakfast was delicious. This was our second stay at Low Fell and we will definitely be returning again.

My only complaint is that I didn't book for another day!

Staff were welcoming and were more than happy to engage in conversation. Everyone was clearly passionate about their local area which helped when it came to organizing trips out. The cottage was plenty big enough to be able to relax after the long days away and breakfast was just what one needed.
