Property was perfect for our needs. It was spacious and warm, and all kitchen utensils that we needed to prepare simple meals were provided. Our hosts Liz and Chris were friendly and helpful. Liz even went 'above and beyond' when we asked for a recommendation for a restaurant after finding the local hostelry fully booked. She phoned round several places to find one that could seat us and then phoned them back after our agreement to book for us - many thanks for your help Liz. It was a lovely relaxing weekend - with surprising unseasonal weather being warm and sunny all weekend - something I desperately needed after just leaving hospital after another round of extensive cancer treatment. I can highly recommend this property. Thanks again to Liz & Chris

Perfect location for exploring the surrounding area, few minutes from the main Road but in a quiet rural area. Apartment spotless and very cosy, nothing too much trouble for the owner's . Local pub 2 minutes walk away, Ley arms. Would certainly recommend. Thanks for everything.

Chris & Liz was very friendly, loved chatting to Chris.. the property itself is lovely and clean with a comfy bed and nice cosy sofa in the open plan kitching/dining area.. boasts a large driveway and beautiful country pub literally 2 minutes walk away! Very beautiful location thank you both!

Both Liz and her hubby were great hosts. They were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The apartment is very new, well designed, has everything needed for a very comfortable stay, and is located in a lovely rural setting. Rooms are spacious, clean and modern yet retaining a distinctly country charm. The internet was fast and reliable and the TV had access to lots of channels including Netflix. There's a very good pub just a few minutes walk from the apartment but nothing else by way of shops or places to eat within reasonable walking distance. This is an excellent base to explore Devon County, an exceptionally lovely part of the UK. You'll need a car, or course, and must be prepared for the very narrow, winding, roads. Lots of patience and consideration are needed when driving.

Our hosts, Liz and Chris, were very friendly and welcoming. They have built the apartment themselves, and are rightfully very proud of it. It's a lovely place in a really beautiful, peaceful part of the Devonshire countryside, yet only a short drive from the A38 Devon Expressway. The property was clean and provided everything we needed; the bed was very comfortable, and we could happily have stayed more than the one night we had there. We ate at the Ley Arms, which is a very short walk away; a really nice pub/restaurant with good food and wine; make sure you book a table!

Perfect for our purpose. Loved the little details such as the personal interaction, provision of coffee/tea and milk plus biscuits and information on the local area. Also toiletries for the shower. The village is absolutely picture postcard and the nearby pub provides delicious food and ambience. Also very convenient for the A38 expressway and southern end of M5 motorway. Daughter slept in sofa bed comfortably and the Jack and Jill bathroom was a clever way to meet the needs of up to 4 people. Thoroughly recommend.

Cosy, clean, tidy, great facilities, very quiet area. Great, secure parking and Chris and Liz (hosts) are two of the loveliest people on Earth, going way above and beyond expectations. They generously put milk in the fridge and supplied some tasty shortbread biscuits! You won’t regret booking.
