Problem with our toilet flushing and continuing to flush when cistern full. This was reported on arrival and a fix was attempted but failed and then never fixed during our three night stay. Also razor points not signed re voltage and one not working. No plug socket by the mirror in room therefore when using hairdryer it is a bit of a problem.

Hotel wasn't too busy, therefore not noisy. Breakfast was good, dining room smallish but had various table configurations, which was good. However if there are more diners you may have to wait for seating. There was a two hour breakfast window.

I was put in a family room with two beds, where there was very little space to move around the furniture.

Very comfy bed, clean and nice bathroom, and very lovely staff

Had to spend a night in London and was looking for something not very expensive. The location is great. The hotel itself will do with a bit of refurbishment but is ok. Adam the receptionist was great. Very good customer service and very polite..

The room was lovely, but the windows faced the communal smoking area, which was very loud at times.

The location. the staff and variety at breakfast was amazing. will definitely be returning, but maybe request a different room .

Our room was tiny, a queen bed placed against the wall had no room for even a bed side cabinet on the other side. Shower and basin okay. No room for knees in front of the toilet! Not the 4 star experience booking.com lead us to believe. On the plus side. Buffet breakfast was good.

The Lord Jim hotel has been closed for quite a while apparently. On arrival there was a poster saying to go to the BEST WESTERN next door, this was over booked and our ensuite double was replaced with a single room with a camp bed. This was our only option upon checking in at 6pm As arranged by messages with the Hotel 2 days before arrival. Nothing was mentioned prior to this about the original lord Jim hotel being closed. On going up to our room I thought to check the app messages again to make sure I had read correctly and 1 day before it mentioned about hotel change ? ( I hadn't checked after confirming check in time). After speaking to the reception desk we were refunded half of the booking.

Staff were nice, breakfast was nice

    Loved everything.

My mum and I stayed at the Best Western The Boltons in London and we have nothing but wonderful things to say. We received exceptional service and help during the whole stay. I fell very sick suddenly and the hotel provided a doctor right away and helped call an ambulance. They all continued to check on me and my mum to make sure we were okay. I did not expect to be so well taken care of by a hotel who obviously has lots of other costumers, but we were treated with the most professional service at all times which made us feel very safe and comfortable. Other things about the hotel that we really liked was: great breakfast served each morning with lots of options such as different types of bread, cereals, typical British breakfast, jams/marmalades, fruits, juices, coffee etc. The room and public areas were all very clean. Comfortable beds. Coffee/ tea in the room. Hairdryer in room. Big TV with lots of channels. Shampoo, conditioner and soap provided. Hotel located central with just 3 minutes walk from Earl’s Court tube station. To sum it up: Staff: 10/10 Hotel room: 10/10 Breakfast: 10/10 Area/ location: 10/10 Overall score: 10/10 I will recommend this hotel to everyone and will definitely stay at the Best Western The Boltons many times. If you want a hotel with outstanding service and staff, then you’ve found the right hotel.
