I booked a room with private bathroom, however, I had a room in the attic and the bathroom was on the hallway. There was another room at the same floor, so I assumed the bathroom was shared between the two rooms which I totally disliked. There was no internet (or at least nobody provided me with any login instructions and there was nobody to ask). Also, when I arrived a lady came from across the street to give me the keys, but she was not able to provide any additional information (for example she was not sure what should I do with the keys when I leave (as I was leaving in the middle of the night). This is not really a hotel, it is rather an Airbnb with several apartments, which is fine, but in this case you would need a house manual with some instructions.

The room was clean and had all the basic facilities you would need, including hair dryer.

Had a very comfortable stay - the room was spotless, breakfast was great, everyone was friendly and the location was good - very handy for local shops and a bus stop into the city centre.

-The bed was not that comfortable. Flat and hard. -The very bright motion sensor light was directly outside the bedroom window and went on and off all night. And the curtains were so light the bedroom filled with light each time. It was very difficult to sleep. -There was an incredibly strong smell in the bathroom. We could not understand what it was. The bathroom was clean. It smelled like cat.

The host was really great. The breakfast was great. The location was great. The room was good and clean.

The communication was difficult. I sent a message about breakfast to the number that had previously communicated with me, and responded almost 7 hours later, at 2:45AM. The toilet seat was cracked and some body hair have been trapped in the crack... We tried to clean it, but without any success... So, who would want to sit on another person's "private" hair...? I sent a picture to the person in charge and never replied. The breakfast was mediocre and far from rich.

The room was nicely decorated and looked clean. The location is alright, since it takes 20 minutes to get to the centre by bus, and it's right next to the bus stop. The check-in was easy. The bed was more or less okay. The shower was good. The breakfast lady was polite. It was really easy to park my car.

Shower was not well working this time, a bit old “used” rooms (shabby in some places, but this is a guest house, not a hotel, so we never minded this as stayed for 1 night only), no fridge (at least a small would be great).

Good location, close to bus stop to a city centre, near supermarkets and coffee places. Free parking and friendly staff, basic but nice breakfast included. Comfortable beds, tea/coffee amenities. We were allowed to leave the car free of charge before checking time ;) that was nice.

There is no AC, and perhaps the rooms could be a bit cleaner (the toilet brush was in the toilet bowl when we came in, that seemed a bit strange).

Nice comfortable for one man stay. The location is easy to access bus that can take you to train station. It was 5 minutes walk to the event I went for so it was really okay

Room rather cramped. Could have been more generous with the soap and shampoo.

Very good location. Close to supermarkets and places to eat. Easy to find the hotel, on the main road. Some parking at the hotel (2 spaces) but free on road parking in the adjacent side roads from 4pm to 10am and 6pm to 8am. Single room a bit small, but had everything I needed. Comfortable bed. Room and bathroom both very clean. Reception was quick and efficient. Breakfast was fine (continental)

Friendly welcome, good WiFi and shower, all clean, pillows pretty good, and a decent breakfast all for £53 on an easy bus route into Oxford! What's not to like.

Would have liked a bit more hot selection for breakfast. E.g. egg, bacon, sausage, beans, mushrooms. However the croissants were a gorgeous addition

Liked how close it was to the restaurant that we had reservations at. Great parking, directly outside. The room was lovely and clean and the owners had thought of everything, including extension leads with usb sockets next to the bed. The bed was firm but comfy and we had a great nights sleep. Next morning breakfast was lovely with really attentive service. Will definitely be staying again.
