No common area to sit and chill, other than hotel lobby which was always busy. Not really any facilities.

The bed was too soft, the heating was hard to control so we were too hot in winter! The staff tried to trick us into paying for a full continental breakfast when all we wanted was eggs.

We liked the location, and the cleanliness of the room and the elevator, and the shower.

The only thing i didn't like was the old bath with Jaccussi fittings on the back rest which made it uncomfortable to lie back and relax.

The room was a good size, with a cosy feeling. The beds were comfy. It was clean.

Badly soundproofed as it is a nice but old building. So you could hear toilet flushing or shower sound from other rooms.

Travelling with large suitcases is always an issue for space. The room is large enough but awkward when staying short term to unpack.

Great location with good walking paths in the area, easy access to buses and trains. Close walking distance to supermarkets and cafe’s. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Too hot in the room. Radiators seem to be on a timer. We even had to open the window on, probably the coldest night of the year.

The hotel and staff excellent. Clean comfortable beds. Above average sized room. Excellent breakfast something for everyone. 10 minute walk to nearest tube at Earl's Court

The hotel is located in a quiet street - we slept with open windows - but the underground is nearby (10-15 minutes walking distance) - so you´re everywhere really fast. Everyone of the staff we´ve met was very nice and requests e.g. for more sheets (as friends we were simply not used to share bedding ;) ) were handled very quickly and without any questions. There is also the option to have continental and english breakfast in the hotel. We highly recommend this. It was delicious. Fresh fruit and everything.

No natural view from the room

Good location, comfortable room but being on the ground floor there was no view, just the facing wall. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our room on the 1st floor was next to the lift, which mechanisms produced a strange noise, when the lift was in motion. Since the hotel guests were using the lift quite late at night, the noise of the lift didn't let me sleep well.

Convenient location of the hotel: on a quiet street, but close to main roads and public transport connections. Modernised / renovated bathroom was significantly larger than in other London hotels of the similar price tier.

My husband found that the bed was too harsh.

Very cosy, breakfast not bad, but they charge you for cappuccino (you can have regular coffee though). I like that you can open the window in the room.

Located in a quiet street. Very handy to Earls Court tube, a quick 5-7 minute walk. Good size room on the ground floor. TV size was good. Bathroom was clean updated. Could do with a new rubber guard on the shower door as the that was very discoloured. Very handy to some pubs and local rests, also easy walk to Gloucester Road tube and Kensington Hist street.

Great staff who went out if the way to make our stay so comfortable and memorable. Well appointed rooms with lovely furnishings and quiet location near shops , restaurants and the tube.

It was super hot! The heating was way up and we were not sure how to turn it down. Had the window wide open to try and cool down the space. Felt that using the aircon to cool the room would be bizarre. ;-)

Our room - 43 - had a view over the city rooftops, which was lovely. It was off the street so no street noise. Also at the end of the passage on the 4th floor, so lovely and quiet.

Location was great as it’s walking distance to Earls Court station and Kensington. Our room was small but as we were out all day we only needed to shower and sleep. The beds are comfortable and the room very clean.
