Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SwitzerlandI was exhausted when I arrived (whole day interview and 3 hours of train delays, leading to countless switches between trains, buses, Ubers, all while also 1 month post-partum). I told this to the person checking me in and hoped for fast service, a problem solving attitude to get me to my room quicker… no. The person looked like a deer in the headlights. They checked me in for what felt like an immensely long time, and then when I asked how I could best get to the airport the next morning, they were unsure about the options and gave me a complicated back and forth of this or that, at this price or that. I told him multiple times « I’m unbelievably tired, please just give me the easiest way » but it was an absolute struggle. Finally after 15-30 min we were able to get a scheduled taxi booked. An Uber would have been a much better option from the start. He should just have said that. For the room, I don’t know what I expected - it very much matches the price. Clean bed and bathroom but all extremely dated. The carpet had several large (blood?) stains on them. Would probably be best not to rent those out until renovations ;) I can imagine there are not-so-stained dated rooms too that could go at that price. I was very hungry… I might have ordered some in room dining but there was no menu… very strange. I just went to sleep.
It was relatively affordable.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Well located for quick access to airport. Good breakfast.

Didn’t have breakfast! I booked it as it was called B.W. Terminal 5 but it was nowhere near terminal 5. However I discovered the 423 bus.
