A shuttle service to the airport would have been helpful. Taxis are expensive but there is a local bus you can take a short walk away.

on arrival the room was clean but there was a strong smell of chlorine that I wanted to disappear so tried to open the window but unfortunately there was no handle to do that. As someone with extensive experience working in hospitality, housekeeping should have been informed maintenance about the lack. Investing in repairing from time to time will do better for the property, in my opinion

Booking for the first time here, few days before my arrival, I called the hotel for more details and Colin, working for FOH was very helpful, professional, provided answers to all my questions and gave very good advise that I took it. Thank you and well done. On the other hand, the person who checked me in, although wrote down my request to order a cab for 5 am forgot to do that. I waited half an hour, nothing happened. When I asked the night staff to check what is happening, only that moment my cab was ordered and arrived in 5-10 minutes. More training should be provided to the FOH' staff regarding the importance of commitment to the customers' request, maybe?

General cleanliness, it wasn’t anything worth escalating, I think it’s down to the purpose of the hotel being somewhere to get your head down before your flight, it doesn’t matter too much about the state of it.

The self check in, although it doesn’t tell you about registering your car for parking, the tablet to register your car is on the bar to the left of the self check in tablet.

The service from the staff. Food took too long to be prepared then arrived cold & burnt!! No vodka at the bar as the manager left with the stock room keys. No apology or other to locate to keep guests happy

The floor was dirty in our room. Also we had a drink in the bar - the lad tending the bar/reception was lovely and polite. Some other staff members were mucking about and making a racket in the restaurant though. I think staff getting along and having a laugh is not a problem, but this lot were loud and annoying so we left.

It is cheap and near to the airport. Good enough for laying your head before an early flight. Does what you need it to. The bed was comfortable.

Let's be straight, it's a budget hotel as reflected in the price. At the time we paid £72.00 so don't expect 5 star accommodation. We stayed there prior to an early flight the next morning so booked it on a room only basis. It's location to Stansted airport was perfect and the price was great too. The room was very basic, but it was clean, quiet and the bed was comfy. Parking was included and although the hotel is located on a service station, you can get off the site to the local area and have dinner in one of the local pubs or restaurants. For me, it ticked enough boxes to be happy to use it again.

That air conditioning is a bit noisy through the night and can wake you up which is a shame because it seems very quiet outside the hotel itself
