Friendly welcome and easy to check in. Room was spotless, well equipped and very comfortable. View at back of hotel wasn't great but this is to be expected in a city hotel. Very good value for money, felt really relaxed here and would definitely stay again.

Horrible view from basement room so we just shut the curtains ! Room very basic but had all we needed.Lad on reception hadn't been given the message about us having early check in so check in was a little awkward but we got it sorted do no big deal.

Great location in the West End of Glasgow .Really near all the pubs and restaurants.Easy to get to using the Glasgow Underground.Breakfast was good .Room clean and comfortable.

There is no parking, however the staff did direct me to where there was free street passing 10 min away. Unloading luggage was difficult with no place to stop in front of the hotel without residents honking at you. The bed was hard, and the blanket short.

The staff was friendly. The breakfast adequate.

I woke early to plan the day but fell asleep. Glad to have had some breakfast after officially over although missed out trying the full Scottish breakfast.

Very warm welcome with our bikes made safe and some fruit after a long ride.

A lift. But I understand it is a small place and might not be possible to install. I can't manage 3 flights of stairs easily now with severe arthritis R knee. A year ago I'd have been happy to use stairs to get the exercise.

Friendly staff carried my luggage up and down (no lift) in spite of also managing reception and breakfast. I hope you value your staff and pay them properly.

The mattress was a little uncomfortable.

The breakfast was incredibly tasty, and the staff were very good about me arriving so late at night. The room was very clean and had a good layout.

Difficult to park my campervan anywhere in Glasgow- This is obviously not the hotels fault but it was a difficulty I encountered

The hotel was ideally situated for Byres and Great Western roads.. You'll see from the photographs it is a.single.bed but was really comfortable,.leaning towards the firmer.side. Tea/coffee (and.biscuits) were.provided. Bathroom was large and taps easy to understand. Good size TV Breakfast was an additional £12 per day but I enjoyed the breakfast, good start to the day . Plenty of restaurants and.coffee shops nearby and different styles of food to chose from Close to public transport links including the subway. Botanic gardens just 5 minutes walk away,.. Would I stay here again,,,? Definitely.

It would be nice to have a room lounge available. Rooms not setup for sitting and it would be nice to have a lounge room

When I got there it turned out that I had been given a basement room (that felt a bit like a dungeon, below street level), which was not what I had expected or had thought to book (sadly via booking.com you obv have no idea which room you'll get). As it neither felt safe or comfortable for me, staff was so kind to swop things around and accommodate me in another room, with only moving once during me 3 nights stay. So although it was a bit of a disappointment in the beginning, the stay was good in the end.

since we stayed for quite some time we did get a little tired of the breakfast which was the same everyday. But it was good breakfast anyhow

The mattress could be a bit more comfortable, but the worst was the smell of breakfast (not a pleasant smell at all!) that woke me up the 2 mornings of my stay at 6-6:30 a.m. Not very nice since I arrived late and was hoping to sleep in.

As a solo traveler, I liked the room and thought it had everything I needed for my short stay.

Room above the breakfast room was not great. At 5am you got the breakfast smell filling your room. Two night stay, the room wasn’t serviced. Spoke to receptionist about it and wasn’t very helpful. Mattress and pillows needed to be replaced.
