It is compact rather than small, wi-fi extremely fast! Wonderful location, very peaceful setting, woodland walks from the door. Our dog enjoyed staying too!

Nothing, everything was great!

Little Woodacott is a beautiful cottage with the woods and a river at its doorstep. Everything you need is there and Mary makes sure you feel welcome by leaving home made scones and cookies. Even my dog Charlie got a bag of treats and she was so happy running freely around the grounds. Mary and Harley's hospitality and kindness is one of a kind and I will certainly go back to stay in this little paradise. Thanks so much for everything it was a memorable stay

We loved everything about this place. There is nothing we would change.

Woodacott is a beautiful, well equipped, cottage in the woods. Truly wonderful, with an abundance of nature of your doorstep and the stunning North Devon coastline, just a short drive away. Mary and Harley were great hosts (together with the wonderful Bingo and Toby), and the little personal touches here, make you feel very welcome indeed. It feels like how life should be - no traffic, no noise, except for nature's chirpings and the distant sound of the stream flowing along. Totally magical. We didn't want to leave.

There was nothing not to like!

The cottage was perfectly equipped, tastefully decorated, comfortable and generally lovely. The location in the woods, with a lovely walk down a winding path leading to a river was really beautiful and peaceful. The hosts were so kind, generous, helpful and welcoming. They had laid out a cream tea for our arrival and supplied fresh milk and drinks for us which was so sweet and thoughtful. They have two dogs who would come often to say hello who were very sweet and well behaved and no trouble at all. The place was well situated for lots of short drives to beautiful locations in the area.

The property is lovely. It had everything you need and more. The little welcome gifts (milk, cake, popcorn and even a couple of soft drinks in the fridge) were a lovely touch. We also enjoyed seeing Bingo and Toby (the owners dogs) who visited us a couple of times.

there was nothing not to like

everything it was hidden in the forest we arrived on a cold and rainy night . it was lovely and clean. the owner thought of everything including a ready made up wood burner and electric blankets in the beds . with the table set out for breakfast . we woke up to the sound of the birds . plus walking up the track there was all sorts of little wildlife . would love to go back there in the future

I found Mary and Harley fantastic hosts making the experience unique with their lovely treats on arrival .. and ensuring condiments and cleaning products were all available. A true little pocket of magic, tucked away and having their own forest that we were able to explore with our dogs only to find a magical stream that resembled a fairy escape ... definitely booking here again .. xx

Accommodation provides lots of privacy in such an idyllic setting. It is looked after by very accommodating and friendly owners. There were many welcoming gifts of food and drink, and special treats for our dog, on our arrival. The owners have thought of every detail to make your stay so comfortable.
