Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaEverything was Perfect!
The gem of this property is surely the magnificent gardens that allow the guests to spend time just relaxing after a hard day of exploring the Cotswolds! Krystyna is a wonderful host that provides her guests with a totally unforgettable experience . Her knowledge of the local area is extensive and invaluable. So much to see and do all within reasonable distance of the property if you have a car. The bedroom downstairs is fantastic. We loved the bed and the heating was welcome in April. The provisions for breakfast were excellent We had everything we needed and so much more .We could make it ourselves fresh and hot when we were ready to eat No timetables here! Just pure bliss and freedom. I can't speak highly enough of this property It was best accommodation we had in Europe during our four week holiday. Thanks again for being so thoughtful, Krystyna.

GermanyPerfect location for us at the end of our Wales/GB trip. Calm, great look in the garden by having breakfast, squirrels jumping arround, perfect ideas what to see best and best references for having dinner from Krystyna. We hope to can come back again! And the possibility to prepare breakfast yourselves is absolutely great!

United KingdomNot much in walking distance in terms of eating out, that said we could have cooked at the kitchen was excellent. We drove to the Gloucester Old Spot pub and the food was superb.
Like a home from home, bed very comfortable and electric blanket was a bonus when it was unseasonably cold. Lovely garden view and very peaceful. The kitchen was fantastic and well stocked. The welcome was warm and friendly and with our own private entrance coming and going was easy. Lovely Host, Lovely area and a very relaxing stay. So close to the Racecourse which was where I needed to be each day. The breakfast was help yourself, but so much choice and special diet (gluten free) catered for. The room and kitchen were spotless.

United KingdomAll good, nothing to fault.
Beautifully clean and spacious twin room with lounge area and ensuite bathroom, lovely views of the garden through patio doors. There was a private seating area on the patio too which we didn't use, appreciating the central heating instead during our October stay. The set up is to help yourself to a DIY breakfast, available in the guest kitchen next door. Plenty of continental provisions and suited us perfectly to prepare, then take back to enjoy in our room. Quiet and peaceful location, good parking and plenty to do in the local area.

United KingdomNothing.
Everything: It’s location, it’s character, Krystyna who was so warm and welcoming, the beautiful and peaceful garden which we were welcome to sit and eat in, the bedroom overlooking the garden, the easily adjusted heating system which meant we could turn up or down the heat depending on the weather, the electric blanket AND the most amazingly stocked breakfast room and fridge. So generous- absolutely everything you could possibly want for breakfast- hot and cold.

United States of AmericaThe access to heat the rooms was limited a bit. I didn't want to bother to ask to turn it on.
Ample room and wonderful grounds. Krystyna is very friendly and helpful creating a "bed and breakfast" feeling of her place that goes well with the "charm" of exploring the Cotswolds.

United KingdomIt was very warm in the room (30 degree heat, not the owners fault) so a little uncomfortable, but there was also a fan in the room, so that was fab.
We stayed in room one, which was gorgeous. The bathroom was huge. There was a private seating area in the garden just outside our own French doors. I love the fact that we had our own designated food in the kitchen just down from our room, and we were free to eat what we wanted, when we wanted, and where we wanted.

United KingdomEven though the fridge shelves were clearly marked with the room numbers other guests didn't understand this as we found items removed from our shelf and sometimes extra things there - perhaps an information sheet in the rooms explaining the kitchen system would be helpful.
Krystyna was very welcoming and gave us lots of information about the area and places to eat. The room was lovely and spacious and it was good to have a table and chairs so we could eat our breakfast in comfort. The breakfast food provided was varied and plentiful and preparing it ourselves meant we could eat at a time that suited us. There were outside seating areas which were very pleasant and the garden was lovely.
