Can't think of anything to fault at all.

Really friendly owner, high quality luxury finish to the whole place. Comfy beds, a brilliant and generous breakfast with lovely coffee. Easily and secure bike storage as well. We would definitely return if in the area again. Great value for the price as well.

The bedroom, toilet and bathroom looked neat. The breakfast was delicious. We slept wonderfully there and enjoyed our time there. If I come back again, I will definitely come back to this B&B. A few minutes' walk from the station, center and buses.

I wish we could have parked closer as after a hard day we were tired and rushing to get there, but there are good car parks for a charge not too far away. The water in the shower was a bit temperamental in terms of temperature, but nothing too hard to work around.

This place really is a hidden gem. We were an hour late checking in due to a very hard day on Scafell, but they waited up for us which we were extremely grateful for and the staff were so lovely about it and explained how the key worked so we could nip out and get some food and get back in. It was clean and comfortable and the sea view from the room is amazing. The full English breakfast is excellent value for money and so tasty and served in a conservatory where you can look out over the bay and harbour whilst you eat.

Excellent quiet and friendly B&B, just a few minutes walk from Whitehaven harbour. Flexible over check-in time when my train was cancelled, good breakfast and comfortable room. Early breakfast (7am) possible which is ideal if you are doing C2C walk or cycle.

The perfect place to stay in Whitehaven! We spent the night because my boyfriend had a job interview so we weren’t expecting much out of the trip, but this accommodation made it feel like a lovely holiday! Gorgeous rooms, spotlessly clean, and the bed was SO comfortable. The staff was wonderful—they accommodated our morning schedule and served one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had.

Tea making in the room, a kettle would have been better than the coffee machine...

Location was ideal for visiting Whitehaven just minutes from the station. Welcoming, comfortable, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was more than just good, set you up for the day ahead. Even the shower temperature stayed consistent...

The Lismore is a lovely building, decorated beautifully and clean and fresh. I had a great night’s sleep with the blackout blinds. Super sea views from my room and at breakfast. The staff were friendly and I received a warm welcome. I’d happily recommend the Lismore to anyone looking to stay a night or few. Good for cyclists, too!! Secure and dry storage!

No where to park nearby, but I was given a parking permit so this wasn't a problem.

The decor in my bedroom was pretty and contemporary with a view over the harbour and sea. There was everything I wanted, included a coffee maker and small fridge so I could keep a bottle of white wine cold. The breakfast was outstanding too, in a beautiful conservatory with the same view.
