Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesHonestly, no major complaints! As someone who is picky about coffee, I would warn others like me that the coffee *tasted* like instant, so maybe just go for the tea, as I would next time. But no biggie, and everything else was delicious!
Loved that 2 bus stops were within easy 5 min walk! Easy to get to city center. Breakfast that came with room was generous and delicious. We were able to store our luggage behind desk after checking out, so we could tour the city, which was lovely! We also received an unexpected upgrade to our room, so that was a lovely surprise!

In a fabulous location very close to Bute Park and within walking distance to the town centre Lovely breakfasts, especially the cooked breakfasts. Waitresses where very helpful & very pleasant. Reception staff were also helpful. Close to a fantastic Italian restaurant, Elganos.

United StatesA couple things to note - they weren’t really problems for us as much as information to note for those it could be a problem for. We happened to have a warm spell during our visit. There is no AC and it was very very warm on the third floor. Ground floor rooms were probably much more comfortable. Also, no elevators. Lots of narrow staircases to climb. Again, not a problem for us, but could be an issue for others. I
