lovely surroundings and gardens with walks, very quiet and peaceful too. used this location to break our journey from South Wales back to Cumbria. Handy if you are visiting Ironbridge area too.

The lady at reception was very rude who checked me in to say she is the first person you come across she was awful , very abrupt made me feel stupid so asking questions, this was my very first stay at the hotel . She really needs retraining on customer service. The food from the breakfast buffet wasn’t great the coffee machine only gave one choice and the food was very bland.

The views where amazing, the beds was surprisingly really comfortable, overall really good value for money ,

The central heating was not working, we were provided with a small fan heater, which wasn't ideal for the size of the room, wasn't an issue for us - but may have for others.

Lovely Location and lovely accommodation and staff, who were accommodating to our needs at short notice. Even upgraded to the main house. Breakfast was good and there were lots of choices.

Upon arrival reception couldn't find our booking as Booking.com hadn't sent through the details. This was resolved by the staff without fuss.

The hall is beautiful with impressive spacious rooms immaculately cleaned. Large comfortable bed with cotton sheets. large flat screen TV, tea and coffee facilities and a great view overlooking the grand gardens and we enjoyed a relaxing stroll. Great nights sleep without a sound. Pick your own breakfast we had the full English -excellent.

The staff when I arrived were non-committal. Not helpful, even though one had already ent me to the incorrect reception. The first reception encounter was not manned, requiring me to telephone the hotel to be told there was someone there. There was clearly no-one. When the staff member eventually turned up, I was told I needed to go elsewhere. Hee had already told a group they didn't have a booking which was found eventually. The staff member did advise that he potentially could help with my luggage if he got time. As by this time, I had parked some distance from reception, requiring me to walk a considerable amount of steps. After driving 5 hours I opted to do this myself rather than wait an unknown amount of time

After the initial encounter, I found the staff very friendly and accommodating.

On arrival, the shower was only 'overhead' and only COLD. However, after that had been reported, it was much better.

On the day that we stayed unfortunately the cafe and bar closed early due to refurbishment. We went for something to eat before the advertised time of closure at 6pm to find it already closed. We felt this should have been pointed out on our arrival.

The room was clean and comfortable with a good view over the lawned areas and well maintained gardens. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice of hot food and continental choices. Good value for money.

Considering this is billed as the national sports ctr the gym is very basic and more like a cheap council run gym.

Breakfast was ok but quality of food was average. Rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. The building and grounds were very impressive. The most disappointing thing were the leisure facilities.

I didn’t find a hairdryer though in the description of the room it was mentioned. Another guest entered our room with her key at 11pm (didn’t ask how but the room was locked for sure). It wasn’t very convenient to wash the hands as there wasn’t space to put on the bar of soap.

The location right next to the venue where my daughter had RG tests there. Big window, wonderful view. Soundproof walls as next day I saw a group of children leaving the building and either there were silent or the walls are soundproof.

The WiFi is awful and the is no signal except in odd places in the garden. This needs to be sorted as most people rely on phone connection and contact with threre family

No hairdryer. Despite being advertised on the description and on my bill. I asked and was told the budget rooms don't have them. Update the marketing, they're even a photo on there of the room with a dryer!

No hairdryer and lack of directional signage to find the sports facilities I needed to get to. WIFI was not secure so I could not use it. Lack of public transportation to Lilleshall so I had to use a taxi to get to it.

It was clean and in good condition. They recommended a reasonably priced taxi company.

Cafe offering limited. Dust in room and bathroom (cobwebs) at ceiling level slight let down.

Value for money at location of conference. Breakfast was good. Wifi limited in room.
