United KingdomBeing a caravan, it is the noise of hearing everyone else in their rooms. So at times it was a challenge to put my son to sleep earlier than everyone. Though this is just of preference. The place could do with a bit of an update and repairs on the doors.
The caravan is situated in Birchington Vale Holiday Park which has lovely amenities that we can use like the pool, shops, bikes. The owner, staff of Birchington Vale are friendly and helpful. It is only about 8 minutes drive to the beach via Minnis Bay.

A mini home from home. Exactly what we wanted with a few nice touches. Honesty bar was good, especially if you hadn't time to go to the shop yet and fancied a drink. 2 toilets was a life saver.

Good communication from the owner with simple instructions for arrival etc. Very clean, spacious van and kitchen well equipped. Large fridge / freezer, microwave etc. Site is in a great location for Margate, Broadstairs, Minnis Bay. Lots to do with the family. Holiday park was clean, nice outdoor seating for food/drink with decent kids play area. We didn’t use the pool so can’t comment. One minor negative. The activity passes weren’t included but can be purchased on arrival. It would have been good to know this as pool, golf and pitch and putt require them. The pool can be booked 2 days in advance so this could cause problems with availability if you are only there for a short break. An option to purchase prior to arrival would be good. However we were out and about exploring the area so this didn’t affect our stay and would highly recommend the caravan.

Although on closer inspection the ‘small print’ states no towels but as a frequent holiday maker @ Birchington vale this was a first for us (no hand towel in bathroom also ) and very little toilet roll, a part used roll was provided and no re fills again a first for us.
