Great size/high ceilings. Chilled atmosphere, not in any way corporatey. Liked the shower control being away from rainfall head, didn't have to get wet until at right temperature.

I like the online check in and check out options. They know it's an a vibrant and lively area and provide you with complimentary ear plugs which is fab! Spacious living space and I loved that you could open the windows for some fresh air!

Absolutely nothing to not like

Amazing location. The accommodation was stunning, what a beautiful building. Considering it was literally on Canal Street on a Saturday night, it was very soundproof. The room had everything and more than we could ever need, books, socks, ear plugs, hair dryer, iron, kitchen area. Will always stay here every time we are in Manchester.

Great location near the station and loads of nightlife. Staff and management are great at what they do. The bed was so comfy I tried to take a thirty minute nap and woke four fours later.

Noisy. The big tip off was that they provide complimentary ear plugs. If you're a light sleeper, this place is not for you. That said, the bed was so comfortable, we slept very well.

Fun and funky vibe! Very welcoming staff, very comfortable room. Great location in the heart of the gay village. Loads of good restaurants in the area and a short walk to the art gallery and the very cool old libraries.

Absolutely everything. The staff are outstanding and attentive. The room is stunning and overall such a beautiful hotel. I always stay here now when in Manchester. It has become my favourite place. I also love having a cheeky prosecco in the hotel bar.

They didn’t make breakfast very obvious, I kind of just wandered in and helped myself from the fridge and theme eventually someone came in and explained. Also, the place is very clean but that meant their very diligent cleaning team were everywhere. They hoovered around me at breakfast and every time I went to use the lift someone was cleaning it.

Rooms were lovely. Busy area but sound proofed windows. The bedrooms were set up well and the bathroom was nice. The staff were lovely. It’s set up as a little home from home. Great to have a kitchen. The downstairs is kind of like a living room

Fantastic hotel in an easy to reach area of Manchester (not far from main train station and a walk to main shopping/restaurant area. Great decor in the rooms and a really cosy lobby where you can get good coffee and yummy snacks. But what really makes this place great is the people who run it - super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying at this delightful hotel.

The hotels in a great location, central but we didn’t struggle to park. The room was spacious, comfortable and had a luxurious feel, the bed was comfy and it had a full kitchenette which would’ve been useful if we’d stayed longer. The staff were really helpful and were available 24/7 - the bar was open when we got back late from a gig which was great.

Everything, the location in the heart of Canal Street was perfect for a great afternoon/night out. Easy access to Piccadilly Station too. I liked the fact the bar opened late for residents. The room was lovely. Very clean and modern. We were even left a nice little surprise for our 10th anniversary. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

From the moment we arrived, it was an amazing hotel from the staff to the beautiful rooms. When we checked in they gave us a free upgrade with it being my partners 30th birthday. 10000% recommend to anyone.

No washing up liquid, salt, pepper, dish washer machine tablets. You can get these from reception but it would be good to have them in the room for your arrival.

Loved the hotel. We stayed in a penthouse. It felt more like a home. Would definitely return. Location was perfect for us next to Piccadilly Train station.

There was a pipe in our room which we think was the sanitary pipe from upstairs, extending from floor to ceiling. We heard water (and presumably other things!) going down the pipe a few times during our night's stay. Very minor point but the bin was very hard to open/ operate. However, I would stay here again, I would just enquire as to whether every room has the same pipe issue.

The Leven is very stylish and staff were helpful. The Reception is 24 hours which was great to know in case we needed anything. The room was very nice, and clean too. The bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed, and we would stay at the Leven again.

We had a great time at Leven over the weekend. We did not realise it was in such a busy area (especially at the weekend), but we always bring ear plugs with us so that did not bother us at all. What is more, we found the area very safe as it was busy at nighttime. There's plenty of restaurants, bars, clubs and shops nearby. The location was perfect for us going to a concert and then walking around the city - we only took transportation to go to the airport. The hotel is very nicely decorated, kinda modern industrial style - we enjoyed that. The room had a super comfy bed, amazing rainfall shower and views of the small river beside the hotel. There was a dishwasher, washing machine, oven and hob - perfect if you wish to dine in. The staff at the hotel were very kind and friendly. They helped us book a taxi and kept our suitcases while out and about. Will definitely return when visiting Manchester.
