Everything. It was all like a dream… absolutely stunning views, amazing room and the owner is extremely nice and easy to get along with. Very helpful good banter! It almost doesn’t feel real staying in the Room 15 suite, out of this world experience, will definitely be back!

Beautiful property with stunning views. Very clean and tidy and immaculately presented. We were both surprised and impressed by the size and facilities of Letterfinlay Lodge House, the photos don’t give the property justice. Large balcony with uninterrupted views across loch lochy and the mountains. Simply stunning!

The room was small so little room for luggage. It was on the ground floor at the front door.

The room was nicely furnished and very clean. The bed was comfortable. Parking was onsite and free. Spectacular views from the car park across the loch and handy for the hotel restaurant next door.

Meeting or speaking to the host,a bit in personable,not used to seeing no one.

The bathroom was compared to the rest a bit small (no shelf to put toiletries).

We stayed one night in Letterfinlay. Everything was very clean. We had a very nice room looking out over the lake. There is thea, coffee and porridge available for the one who like this. Next door is a very nice restaurant.

The Osprey Suite is enormous! Very clean. Excellent locations. Friendly and helpful staff. The views weee breathtaking. Can’t fault the place.

Our bedroom was too small, with insufficient room to even open up our luggage. The room was very very well designed/decorated but was about 40% to small.

Privacy/noise. The suite living room doesnt have a door and is only separated from the rest of the house by the staircase and curtains, so we could hear the other guests like they were in our room. Not ideal at all (even if no one went to bed late). Road noise too.

The Osprey suite view is lovely, the room is huge and everything was super clean. Easy check in too!

Absolutely stunning location on the shores of Loch Lochy. Very clean comfortable accommodation with the addition of a mini fridge! Excellent and highly recommended!

The prices in the adjacent hotel were way above usual prices. The food was very hot and service was good.

The breakfast porridge pots and cereal bars were an added bonus. Breakfast is available in the hotel.

The Wifi was too slow to be of any use.

Comfortable bed and clean room. Self check-in process was straightforward. Host provided instant oatmeal and cereal bars for breakfast and also noted other dining options nearby.

The place offers a really nice terrace with an amazing view on the lake. The rooms were furnished good, so we didn't miss anything.

The internet did not work. The router probably just needed a power cycle, but I didn't do anything about trying to fix it. 4G just about works! I unfortunately couldn't stay long enough to really check things out but it felt like the living room was a quite cramped. The mattress could have been firmer but really no trouble as I got a good nights sleep. Don't know if the room can be arranged a little differently to give a little more floor space but again nothing really to complain about!

The best part of my stay here was cleanliness and the hot shower. After a long day of hiking, a nice hot powerful shower is just pure bliss and the room I stayed in had a lovely clean and spacious shower with excellent water pressure and hot water. The second best part was the thoughtfulness of a fridge in the room. Everything was spotlessly clean. Good tea / coffee / breakfast facilities. I was in touch with Smaxi regarding arrival times, entry codes, etc. and the communication was timely, friendly and excellent.

The kettle was a bit broken, and the toilet button also got a bit stuck, which could make the toilet run continuously if left unfixed.

THE VIEW! The house is directly on the loch, metres away, and the view across it to the trees and the mountains is amazing. Having one of the rooms that open onto the deck is absolutely amazing. The room was good, clean, and comfortable, and the owner was very easy to get in contact with.
