We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomUnfortunately our room we selected out of the four rooms was a bit tired looking, bathroom not up to the usual standard, don’t get me wrong it was clean just the décor was a bit grubby . But that said we were very grateful for the upgrade to sea view rooms which certainly impressed our group of friends.
We love the location, perfect for cruising passengers as we were this time. The staff were excellent very friendly & obliging. Food in restaurant was excellent and bar service was exceptional. As we have stayed in the hotel many times previously we encouraged our friends to stay with us this time (group of 4 couples). We are pleased to say their rooms were exceptional as we have had on past visits and they were very happy. So much so they will be considering booking rooms in the near future.

Centrally located. The balcony suite was spacious and comfortable. The complimentary items were a nice surprise. Restaurant was good value. Overall good value for money.

United States of AmericaThe lobby can get very busy at check-in and check out times. Particularly on cruise days. The luggage and desk staff do their best!
We have stayed here on several occasions pre or post cruising. It is a good location, especially if you are on foot, especially for sightseeing around town. The elevators are efficient, the rooms are quiet, and the birthplace buffet will not disappoint.

Arrived to a great smile from reception, room lovely, went for a swim & hot tub. Changed & went to the bar for a drink & then out for an evening meal over the road. Back to the hotel after for a good nights sleep & then down to a great breakfast. Kept the car in the parking & wandered into town.

United KingdomOur room was next to the cleaning storage room and we could overhear the noise of moving items in there. Also, the view from the room wasn't ideal either, partly looking at dirty bins and backyards. The bathroom was clean but the bathtub was a bit too old and needed an upgrade due to minor surface damage and discoloration.
The choice of breakfast was exceptional. The bed was large and comfortable and the room was spacious. The staff working there were kind and helpful. There was a parking facility for the hotel(for a daily rate of 7GBP)

United KingdomOur bathroom had a lot of mould around the bath and shower. The fixtures in the bathroom are looking tired. We didn't have any slippers like it says on our booking information. Bottled water wasn't replenished every day. There was a bit of a bad smell as you entered into our room. There was a wet patch on the carpet which seemed to get worse the longer we were there {3 nights} we did report it on checking out. Would of given a higher rating if it wasn't for these things.
Leonardo Royal hotel is lovely and in an excellent location. Rooms were quiet, couldn't hear any noise [apart from the traffic] like some hotel rooms. Room was nice and big with a lovely sea view. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice.
