To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomVery small toilet. The night shift staff did not know about some of the operations or activities in hotel. For example he gave us the wrong information about the parking. We were unable to get out of the parking ended up going back to reception to pay and get the pass. The water was not replaced on our second of stay. When we asked the receptionist for water he asked us to pay!

United KingdomWe pre-ordered a bucket of 5 beers for £20 to the room which we were told might be in the bar if they weren’t in the room when we checked in. We were charged £18 for 3 beers in the bar and then the receptionist asked us to pay for the bucket of beers when we left but we hadn’t had them.

United KingdomWe booked an Executive King Room (£350+ for 2 nights) but it didn't have an 'Executive' feel. The bathroom was extremely small. The shower head was fixed which meant limited adjustability in water flow direction. The bath was tiny. The view from the room window looked out over an untidy grass area. The view of the surrounding rooms on 2 levels gave it a feel of a 1960's/1970's holiday camp which was a shame.
A great location for exploring Oxford. Ample parking. Polite, friendly and helpful staff. Large, clean, welcoming and comfortable foyer. Clean rooms and corridors. A nice touch with the 'Guest of the Day' gratuities.

United KingdomThe room was too cold when we arrived, because the air conditioning was on too low, even though it was a cold day. This was quite unpleasant for my wife who does not like the cold. I also was expecting a bath in the bathroom, as advertised, however there was only a shower. So if you want a bath then I would recommend asking specifically for a room with a bath, even if it is advertised with one at the point of reservation.
The room and communal areas were clean and well kept. The beds and furnishings were comfortable. As we were sat in the restaurant on the morning of our departure, my son told me that it was "the best breakfast in Oxford".
