The car park was a little walk, it’s fine if you travel light but wouldn’t be great for an older couple or someone less able.

Friendly staff, clean. Excellent location for city centre and.motorpoit arena. Right near train station too. If you drive, the train station car park isn't too expensive

The bathroom tap was very powerful and often splurted out water onto ourselves and the bathroom floor which wasn’t ideal. It was also quite windy in the night and something outside was constantly clanging (on the tenth floor) which kept me awake for a short while.

Friendly staff, good selection for breakfast and the staff who prepared my room chose me as ‘customer of the day’ so I received a little note and a box of sweets which I thought was a really nice touch.

My only issue was that the bathroom could do with being modernised.

The room was large, with 2 windows and a bath. The bed was really comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. This hotel is in a great location, across the road from the train station.

Very convenient location , less than 5 mins walk from station and close enough to City Centre . Large spacious public areas and good room sizes. Very clean throughout .

If I'm being really picky, there was a check in on the door entrance before the actual check in at reception, which felt needless to me, but I'm sure there was a reason for it. Nothing too though.

Smart hotel, clean, comfortable, good pillows! Tidy little bar. Location perfect for easy train station access combined with short walk to any shops needed. Perfect for a quick one night stay. Will use again.

Room was not automatically cleaned or supplies replenished. Had to ask repeatedly for room service.

The fact we got free coffee vouchers and couldn’t use them between 11am and 1pm we were told so had to go else where for a coffee the bar and grill had a barrier across the entrance

Although a reasonable price for my stay through booking.com. I don’t think the superior room merits the title. Not in a bad way just didn’t meet the expectations. No heated towel rail. Decor could do with a little update

The hotel is in an excellent location for a Nottingham trip a few minutes up the road near the bus, tram and rail stations Breakfast is plentiful, cooked, continental buffet style. Choice of coffees from the machine. Fruit and bakery goods. Friendly helpful staff. The view on the top floor was good.

Room was good but the TV wasn’t working. There clearly was a connectivity issue. The chap at reception tried to be helpful but couldn’t help. He offered us a room change but my partner had already unpacked and didn’t want to move. Had I been on my own, I would have done so. I was told that room maintenance wasn’t available as it was after 5pm on a Friday and maintenance stopped on Friday at 5pm and commenced at 9pm on the Monday - no good to me. The Staff member tried to be helpful and was most apologetic. My issue is this. Clearly the hotel is looking to cut costs as against providing a service to customers. This is simply not good enough!! I happened to speak to a maintenance guy upon departure on Monday morning and this person confirmed his company was not contracted by the hotel to carry out maintenance at the weekend. Typically symptomatic of Broken Britain and an example of greedy organisations like this hotel trying to cut costs at the expense of the customer. This would not have happened when the hotel was under the “Jury’s” banner. I stay at this hotel annually, for the local beer festival, and have done so for many years. May not do so again.

Room and bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. Hotel is well located for the railway station.Staff were good and tried to be helpful, even in one notable instance where they did their best but couldn’t help.
