Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomIf I'm being really picky, there was a check in on the door entrance before the actual check in at reception, which felt needless to me, but I'm sure there was a reason for it. Nothing too though.
Smart hotel, clean, comfortable, good pillows! Tidy little bar. Location perfect for easy train station access combined with short walk to any shops needed. Perfect for a quick one night stay. Will use again.

The hotel is in an excellent location for a Nottingham trip a few minutes up the road near the bus, tram and rail stations Breakfast is plentiful, cooked, continental buffet style. Choice of coffees from the machine. Fruit and bakery goods. Friendly helpful staff. The view on the top floor was good.

United KingdomRoom was good but the TV wasn’t working. There clearly was a connectivity issue. The chap at reception tried to be helpful but couldn’t help. He offered us a room change but my partner had already unpacked and didn’t want to move. Had I been on my own, I would have done so. I was told that room maintenance wasn’t available as it was after 5pm on a Friday and maintenance stopped on Friday at 5pm and commenced at 9pm on the Monday - no good to me. The Staff member tried to be helpful and was most apologetic. My issue is this. Clearly the hotel is looking to cut costs as against providing a service to customers. This is simply not good enough!! I happened to speak to a maintenance guy upon departure on Monday morning and this person confirmed his company was not contracted by the hotel to carry out maintenance at the weekend. Typically symptomatic of Broken Britain and an example of greedy organisations like this hotel trying to cut costs at the expense of the customer. This would not have happened when the hotel was under the “Jury’s” banner. I stay at this hotel annually, for the local beer festival, and have done so for many years. May not do so again.
Room and bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. Hotel is well located for the railway station.Staff were good and tried to be helpful, even in one notable instance where they did their best but couldn’t help.

United KingdomRe the bathroom, my only quibble was the fixed showerhead above the bath. Seems very antiquated and, without a standard hose attachment, pretty redundant to wash with properly. I wonder if others have commented on this? But loved that there was a proper bath, though!
The location, close to station & Motorpoint Arena. Lovely bright public areas and really nice room with view. Great to actually have a proper bath tub nowadays. Oh and the breakfast was first rate!

Great location, lovely room. Hotel very clean and staff friendly and helpful. Liked the fact that bathroom was a bath as well as a shower. Comfortable bed and no external noise from outside the property to keep you awake. Close to train station, short walk to tram as well as shops/pubs/restaurants and ice arena.
