We booked an executive king room, which is a little more pricey as it was my partners birthday. These are located on the top floor which is incredibly warm. The air con was ‘on’ but barely breathed cool air into the room, so it was a little uncomfortable (I did go to reception to speak about this and make sure it was on). The bed is rather uncomfortable, quite hard for both the mattress and pillows and not much give on either. The TV has network settings disabled so all you can access is basic channels, most channels on the digital box are inaccessible. They will not connect it to access apps, such as Youtube, which was disappointing in this day to not have. Overall, it’s a fine stay for a short visit, but I wouldn’t come here for longer than one night. I also did put in a special request as it was my partners 30th birthday - previously at other hotels, they’ve left a little note to say happy birthday or some chocolates, something small but adds a special feeling. This hotel didn’t do anything, which was a little sad. You can pay for celebration packages, which is £30 for a bottle of Prosecco in the room (rather pricey)

For a hotel in such a prime spot, this is such a good value for money. Being on the doorstep of the docks was perfect for us to easily go out and come back. The room was clean, modern and overall nice. The staff were happy to help whenever we had questions. View was lovely.

2 for dinner. Ordered 2 main courses, which arrived 10 minutes apart. Fish and chips were delicious, however for £17.50 was a bit steep for one piece of small fish

The room rates are too high in comparison to what you actually get. The room was clean enough but the shower curtain was old and had a lot of mildew on it. The air conditioning In the room didn't work so we did not have a good night's sleep which was nothing to do with the bed, that was actually really comfortable. The housekeeping staff are just lacking in a little attention to detail in my opinion. We paid £157 for night but I think personally it was too high.

This hotel has a lot to offer. Great location, very close to the Albert dock and Liverpool city centre a 10 minute walk away. A lot of food and drink in the bar/restaurant are although we didn't use the hotel for this. Staff are very friendly and work quickly. Fridge in the room (executive suite) was stocked with water soft drinks and chocolate which was a lovely touch. There was also a coffee machine in the room aswell as buscuits. Dressing gown and slippers also provided. I would stay again despite some small issues we had if the room rates where a little more in keeping with the actual rooms. There is a little fridge in the receptionarea stocked with drinks snacks and pot noodles if you get a little peckish once you return back to your hotel.

Would of liked a mini fridge but thats it

The room was a twin with a double bed and a single, no fridge but not the end of the world, the air con was OK, someone said you had to ask reception to put it on but I'm not sure this is right. I did call reception but they never answered the phone.

Would have preferred 3 single beds in the room for 3 adults but we managed.

Hotel was in a good location for getting around. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spotless and comfortable.

Lovely hotel stayed before so knew what to expect the price was high compared to the price we have paid before probably because it was Saturday and the echo arena had a gig on

Room carpet was very stained in multiple locations. Carpet requires replacing or professional cleaning. TV didn't work initially but the maintainance chap came and fixed once we reported the issue to reception.
