Charging £7 extra for parking is a bit of a joke! It’s out of town and can only be accessed by residents. This is not ok and should be made clearer when booking.

Check in was good, staff friendly, location just what I needed for an overnight stop.

Room wasn't the best re situation. Close to lifts and communal areas. Extremely noisy late at night. Had much better rooms on previous stays. Should have requested change of room but was only staying few days. Paying extra for parking was really too expensive.

    Location good for me

We had a two night family stay. It is situated in a great location for visiting Cheltenham, Gloucester and the Cotswolds. The breakfast is really good and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Overall, it's good value for money.

Nothing - everything was as we expected

The Supierior Double bedroom was very clean and well appointed, the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was extensive, well cooked and staff worked all the time to make sure everything was filled up. We used the leisure facilities which were great. The hotel was conveniently placed on a major bus route so it was easy to get to both Cheltenham and Gloucester quickly. There was a parking fee but it was reasonable and with other hotels/facilities nearby (including a new park and ride being built) it would be silly not to charge. It may be worth considering replacing the shower/bath at some point - the shower was fixed and cannot be moved and is over a bath. This hotel has only recenelty become a Leonardo from being a Jury's Inn. Perhaps a more modern walk in shower as there is space. However this did not affect our stay and the showers were hot and powerful.

Background noise from the road but this did not detract from our overall stay.

The staff were very friendly and professional.Esther at Reception was very helpful on arrival and throughout our stay. Tino at the bar was welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The Breakfast supervisor on 26 May was very pleasant efficient and proactive , assisting her staff where necessary. The cleaning staff did a great job and were friendly and cheerful .

Paid extra for breakfast £52 for the both of us for 2 night's which was cold and not very nice. No aircon in the rooms, there is a, fan but it is hot, beds not that comfy. They had a function on the Friday night and it was difficult to be served at the bar due to the amount of people. Booked a double but given a twin. Wasn't worth £220 for 2 night's thought it would be more comfortable for what we paid

Great location to visit Burton on the water and Stow on the Wold, Cheltenham Town centre is a five minute drive. Great selection of shops and restaurants. Hotel was a bit dated but didn't bother us, friendly team, Chloe who checked us in was lovely.

The person who invented fish batter labelled non alcoholic beer batter - it was truly awful! - the only fault we could find

Room was large and bed very comfortable. On arrival we were told that we were guests of the day and received vouchers for wine, coffee and a discount in the restaurant. Additionally we were not charged for over night parking. Staff, including housekeeping were uniformly pleasant and helpful.

Only niggle was no fridge or aircon in rooms, though we could open the window a little, I expect it will be very hot in high summer.

Convenient location, good size rooms, very comfortable beds, and lovely staff. The hotel was clean throughout and had a pleasant outdoor seating area. Can't rate the spa as we didn't use it, but it was available to us, which is a bonus!
