Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Great breakfast selection. Some rooms can be noisy if facing the main street, but location is excellent as very central so a play off. Beds comfy.

IrelandI did not like the fact that hotel guests had to pay £20 stg a night to park at the hotel. I have never had to pay before to stay at any hotel in the world I have been a guest of. The cost to park across the road in the shopping centre car park was cheaper. The hotel emphasis appears to be on maximising revenue from their guests with clever marketing ploys such as a voucher offering at reception, offering a 2 course meal for £22 in the restaurant. What they neglected to tell you is that this voucher excluded the daily special menu and the ENTIRE grill section on the menu. When it was pointed out that the prices on the daily specials were the same as some of the limited items on the menu they relented and we were allowed to order from the special menu as well. Having a conversation of this nature before ordering a meal is hugely detrimental to the pleasure of dining out. Ironically buying the voucher only saved me about £2. I hope the management read this review and rethink the folly of using this dubious and misleading process of channelling customers into their restaurant.
The breakfast was at an acceptable level. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable.

The breakfast is excellent and worth the extra pounds. The room was quiet and the hotel is centrally located.

United StatesConfusion about the type of room we had booked. We had upgraded to a Junior suite but we were placed in a King Superior room which we were told was the same thing. It was not based on the description of what was described on the booking. We were way too tired to argue about it when we arrived so we just accepted it. It really wasn’t that big a deal but it wasn’t why we had upgraded to.
Great location. It was very clean. The room was comfortable. Check out time and breakfast times were generous.

United KingdomWe were originally put into an accessible room even though this wasn't requested but this was quickly rectified and not a problem at all. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast is usually a highlight for me at this hotel but I was slightly disappointed to find they had swapped hash browns for sautéed potatoes as it doesn't offer the same breakfast experience.
This is my go-to hotel in Cardiff and always will be. The staff are amazingly friendly, the room is lovely, the beds are extremely comfortable, the bathroom is well done. There's nothing not to like!
